The Dream

I dreamed the best dream last night. It could be the most powerful christian movie ever I think! Problem is I don't remember most of it. Just the plot. What I remember is that it was about a girl about my age and she's mad at her dad and her mom doesn't care about her and the only person she really thinks she loves is her big brother. Her parents actually end up getting divorced sometime in the dream and she lives with him. So anyhow she's sad and all, she lost all her friends when she tried to truly talk with them about what she was feeling, bad stuff happening all around her, she never sees her brother because he's always out of town, etc. But there's this mysterious older guy that always shows up and talks to her and guides her and tells her about Jesus, the only one who can make life complete. She starts believing him, but it only really pops out at her when her brother gets hit by a car. Then she accepts Christ and prays for her brother. Turns out she never sees the mysterious guy again until he comes back for her and the rest of God's children. Hard to explain but really neat! I was crying through the dream if that's possible. The thing about dreams is you know exactly what going on while you're dreaming them and when you wake up you realize that that it really didn't make any sense and you can't explain it to anybody! Arg. Mom doesn't like dreams. Do ya'll? I need to dream that dream again and remember more of it this time!!!:) When I'm at the point where I can make movies with car wrecks and tornadoes and grown-up, real, actors, that'll be probably the first one I make. I don't wanna compromise this one!
Everything I wrote up there probably doesn't make any sense at all. Oh well. It's still on my mind and I wanted to write it.

The Explaination

Yesterday we were celebrating Lane's birthday b/cuz we'll be in Colorado on her real birthday. So we made her a treasure hunt thing with clues to find her presents. THOSE letters are the notes to play on the piano to play HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU. That was the last clue, the presents were hidden around the piano. She couldn't figure it out so we said, "try playing em". She got it after awhile but that was the hardest hunt we ever thought up! We played BUMP after dinner. That is THE most annoying game ever!!!! Better than most board games, but I'm just not a board game player.
2, maybe 1 day(s) until we go skiing!!!!!!!!!!! FUNFUNFUN!!!
Ronaldo is at a soccer game right now, and this time I stayed at home and Mom went to the game. I just called her and we're winning 1 to 0! Hooray! They had to be at the fields at 7:30 this morning! We usually do TERRIBLE at early morning games. Lets hope everyone else does too!!! We're lookin good this year we started the season off strong. I know I already said that, but it's true! I'm making a soccer movie as the season gets on, I hope it works out. This will be the hardest movie I've ever made and I have to learn how to do music with it a such. Last game I tried to get some footage of Express getting beat and playing bad but I COULDN'T!!!! They were doing great, God love em! I love soccer. I'm coaching Jess's team this year. Should be interesting - fun too! I've got him, 2 little siblings of players on Ronaldo's team, and some other kids I have yet to meet. Hope we're no 1 seed of U-5. J-man was. I don't think he sees any reason to give that up this season!!! They all rock. Ok enough about soccer!:P

Lazy Day...

Ronaldo, the boys, and Dad went to ODP today. I played RED ALERT 2, read a book, and taught my little sisters how to swordfight. Maybe THAT was a mistake!:P Littlegirl is here opening and closing drawers. About one more month till we have a baby boy! Some friends of ours just had one and made me all jealous! Littlegirl just took off and is crying now because I won't let her up the stairs...so I just came back from cuddling her. *Sigh* She's spoiled. Not walking yet.
We had our first soccer tournament of the season yesterday in...Russellville? Well we won both games!!!! WHOOPEEEEEE!!!! Ronaldo scored fourice I think! That's not a real word, you say it Four Times. A little bit boring... but yeah we went out there and froze all day. But it was OK because WE WON! It would NOT be cool if we drove all the way out there and froze and lost! Well anyway we had a good startoff!!!
Who's reading through the Bible this year? Our church has this paper you can get that tells you what to read every day so you can read through the Bible in a year. But I'm not doing that this year. This year I don't wanna feel like "Oh I have to read it because it's on the schedule!" I wanna look at some other versions. NKJ is pretty cool. I have NIV. Beauty and the Pig study is in 2 days. Who started? I'm finished! I feel very ON TIME. I think the males are home. Better get off Dad's computer before he sees me!!! (I'm kidding:P:P:P)

I need to clear something up. I talked with Sarah but here's to everybody else. You probably read that "Update on me post" about 2 posts down about the babysitting and such. My dad told me it looked like I was talking behind other people behind their backs, and just worrying about babysitting for the money, and just overall not sounding like a girl who professes to worship Christ. I am sorry I wrote it that way. I did not mean to do that and when he told me at first I didn't really get it but when I put myself in the reader's shoes it did not sound nice at ALL! So sorry! My point was do your best in whatever circumstance. Turned out as a mistake. *Sigh* Yall know that message anyway! New one: Don't talk naughty about other people! I should probably stick with not talking about other people AT ALL till I get better at that sort of thing. *Sigh again*. I shall try to remember to watch for things from now on but if you notice I DON'T.... TELL ME SO! Dad told me because he figured I'd wanna know what what I said sounds like so I could get right with yall and God. Feel free to do it too! Lord knows I need it! Like that WORD Bekah said I should change because it sounded like a naughty word. Didn't know the word and needed to know. Not the word, but to change it! I probably post a lot of ...questionable things I don't know about. What are friends - and comments and e-mails - for? I'll probably delete that post. Maybe keep it to remind me... Basic message: I posted a bad post. I am sorry about it. Talking about other people mean is not good!
Lots of Luv!

Wesley's first Splinter

It's only fair that I should tell you about Wesley(J-man's alias name)'s first splinter incident. He came in, screaming and crying to me and holding his finger out to me. He had a little sharp stick stuck in the top layer of his little skin. Funny looking. Both ends stuck out the sides. I told him to calm down and got the tweezers. "WHAT ARE DOSE??????!!!!!!"
"Tweezers. They'll get it out for you."
"Is it gonna hurt?"
"A little bit maybe but you gotta be brave!"
"But - I just don't want to die. That is what I do not want to do!" *Oh the drama...*
"I promise you are not gonna die about this. Not a big deal. Just be tough!" He did toughen up and stopped crying by the time we found Mom and asked HER to get it out. "OK. Close your eyes....there. Got it." Not a hurt. Not a tear. He went to get ready to go back outside and I resumed my position in the schoolroom. Only to be interrupted by the little 3-year-old J-dude screaming and crying to me. "Not another one!" It wasn't. He had been sitting in the deck corner in a subdued little pile crying about Joshua's accident. Obviously neither of them had ever seen anything like it. He got to look at the remains of the accident and everybody went back outside and lived happily ever after until Mayfee threw a fit and hurt himself two minutes later. Things are normal around here:)

I have done the superhero test and I am... dadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadada - CHING! GREEN LANTERN!!!!! Not that cool because I dunno who he is or what his power is or anything! Somebody help me! Brando, my brother is a lot like you....he's Robin too LOL! I am 66% Robin. Only 50% Hulk that's for Bekah. I'm only half like you girl!:P Wesley is the mild mannered Superman. But we all guessed it. It fits him so well! Take the test here: http://www.thesuperheroquiz.com God Bless beloved readers!!! Meggy T

An Update on Me

Just finished school. Sitting in my room typing on the Lappy-Pie. Just got up and closed the door because I am listening to the Facing the Giants soundtrack on the Internet. Might wake up the boys. It doesn't play the whole thing of the songs. But it sure beats buying it! :P Right now its on the deathcrawl music. Coooooool! I like the Brock Kelley guy. And the black JT coach. Still have my hat on from babysitting due to naughty hair. All-girl high school fellowship tonight! OK this not whole song thing is getting annoying. Hey get a taste of what I'm listening to while you read this @http://facingthegiants.com/dvdsoundtrack.php .
Anyhow babysitting. The family I babysat for today have 2 boys that are 3 and...something months old. Just angel boys! I only have the baby right now and he sleeps most of the time. Anyway I get like 7 bucks an hour for sitting around, and they have a clean house, the mom's super nice, she picks me up and takes me back, and they have a HUGE tv! That's the life people!:) Anyway, so I babysit over there like I'm babysitting with the president looking over my shoulder as you can imagine. Now lets go the opposite. I also babysit for another family that have a little boy who is the new meaning of torture. They always leave dishes for me to do, I am scared TO DEATH of the mom, My mom has to drop me off and pick me up, and I get 3 or 4 dollars an hour for hard labor. NOT very cool. Well I babysit over there like the devil's looking over my shoulder with pity in his eyes or something ya know what I mean? Some kind of martyr or something. Well so I do what I have to do and yesterday while little Eas is yelling up my ear and I am pretending I don't know who he is I was thinkin, "I do NOT have to do this good. They don't pay like they want good service. I do not have to do this at all." My parents think that too. But God said to me, "I had men who were older than 3 years old screamin at me with swords and scary weapons in their hands." Kinda like that. Not really. The point is He said He wanted me to babysit like He- and the president were looking over my shoulder. So I had to change my attitude while I defeated that miniature nightmare of a wildman:P I wonder if Jesus had to watch that little dude He would ignore him or give him the"rod of correction?"LOL!
BIG NEWS!!!!!!!!!!! WE ARE GOING TO SKI IN COLORADO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 4 big kids and Dad. Gonna be big fun!!!

Family Funfunfun!!!

My Korean Grandma and Great-Grandma came this week. Funfunfun! Grandma got me a curling iron for valentine's day!!! She also brought a tripod I'm gonna use for my video camera!!! Whoohoo!!! You wanna hear something funny? SHE GIVES HER FISH A BATH!!! I'm nought keeding!!! After she cleans the tank she takes her beta and runs him underwater scrubbing him! I mean, everybody knows ya don't put a dirty fish in a clean tank right?:P Halmony (great-grandma) is awesome! She speaks like no English but she understands it. She went to Ronaldo's soccer practice and fell over backward in the miniature lawn-chair thing....and got up laughing hysterically!! She's uh....almost 100 years old! Quick as a cat! Don't let her fool ya!:P Speaking of Ronaldo his alias name is currently Wedge. He wanted something that sounded less suspicious...Heheh. I'll probably forget and use Ronaldo. So for those of you who were confused with Ronaldo and STILL don't know what I'm talking about...tough luck!!:P My alias name is Ivy for now. Wedge gave it to me. Tell me if you think up something better.
By the way, the Colts rock! Have to say I freaked out preety bad when that guy first TOUCHED the ball and took it ALL THE WAY DOWNFIELD to the end zone. Can I get an Uh-huh? Anyone.....no? Dad? IvyMeggyJesusChick

Hanging out

House-cleaned today. Just made some no-bake cookies that Britter gave me the recipie for yesterday. Yumyumyum!!! We're gonna have them for tea. Now I'm not really doing anything. It's all settled... 2:00 tomorrow at JC Penney's my hair is coming off at the hands of Brooka:P Wheehee! I hope I'll like it. I know I probably won't at first it takes me awhile to get used to it!!! I'll cry probably even!
Real fun and true Newsboys song:
Newsboys - Wherever We Go From the album GO
Wherever we go, bluebirds sing And the flowers bloom And the grass gets green It’s a curious thing But it’s just our thing
Wherever we go, the bees behave In the treetops, squirrels smile and wave It’s a curious thing And it’s humbling
Where we go, little glow-worms glow Little roadrunners run ahead. Gonna tell their friends Little mice, little men Get ‘em all excited All invited
Chorus:
Hands up Holler back here Let’s throw this party in gear We brought the welcome mat. Wherever we go, that’s where the party’s at. Hands up Holler back now We don’t claim any know-how. We’re giving God all that. Wherever we go, that’s where the party’s at
Wherever we go, the dumb get wise And the crime rates drop And the markets rise It’s a curious thing But it’s just our thing
Bullies make nice, crooks repent And the ozone layer shows improvement It’s a curious thing And it’s humbling
Wherever we’re led All the Living Dead Wanna leave their Zombie Mob. It’s a touching scene when they all come clean God help us, we just love our job!
(Chorus)

Another Meltal-mouth!!!

Lane got BRACES TODAY!!!!!!!! Just the top. Red and pink for Valentine's Day just like I did! They were kinda sore tonight at dinner so we made her fruit into a smoothie. Yummy! That made everybody else want one too so the blender was humming and boys were slurping and everybody was talking while YOU were eating a nice, quiet, normal dinner with your family lol!:P Making a wooden sword right now. Big and pretty cool. Painted half the blade silver today. How's school going? Not bad here! It's settled: I am going probably on Friday to get my hair cut like Britter's at JC Penny. Kinda scary losing all that hair so quick! Mom's gonna highlight it in red after that. She did Laura's and Mrs. Jodie's the other day and it turned out pretty good! Almost done reading ROSE IN BLOOM. Like it lots! Anyone read it? Read 8 COUSINS then you should! Reading UNDER THE LILACS out loud. So funny and cute! Anyone read MR. POPPER'S PENGUINS? Sounds 2nd grade I know but Mom says it's actually pretty funny! Think we'll read that one next.
Something cool to do with sibs is have like a crack in the dresser or something that paper fits in and call it your mailbox. All of us girls have one now. Haven't gotten mail yet we just set it up yesterday. Weather has been kinder of late. Farethewell! Rambley Me.

The Case for a CREATOR part 1

Our Pastor has started this awesome series called "the Case for a Creator". It's a thing on Creation vs. Evolution I'm gonna give ya notes on. He acually started 2 weeks ago, but I'm getting around to putting it on here. It'll probably happen again sometime!

PART 1: "Creation: It's Foundational"

The Bible has Foundations

First is the doctrine of Creation
Second is the doctrine of Resurrection
What happens if these 2 doctrines fail?
If man just "happened" then:
There is no Creator
There is no eternal home
Death is the end of all things
There is no moral absolutes
There is no accountability to a higher authority
Life has no meaning
(Not very pleasant thoughts huh.)

The Alternative to the Creation Account is Darwinism or Evolution

The goal is to destroy in the heart's of men the concept of creation
This is a major goal of the enemy
Man is relieved of the idea that he is under any ultimate authority
Man is relieved of the idea that he is under any ultimate accountability
Man becomes a creature of chance rather than being created in the image of God (So we're just nobodys and this life is it?)
Absolute truth and absolute moral standards are erased
We see the effects of this in our culture today on every hand
It is the basis of a divided culture over so many issues
This issue is the root issue of our time

Indoctrination of Culture

Look closely
It is woven into the fabric of much of our secular education
Not just in biology or sciences
It even effects the way we interpret history, and makes revisions of history
Our children are under the influence and so are we
Media, enertainment and basic culture are inundated with the idea of evolution (Tell me about it)
The most damging ideologies and movements of the 20th century can be traced to Darwinism
The dots can be connected to Marx and even foundational ideas in Hitler's ideology

The Current Condition of our Time

Generally, people still believe that human life is special
People still hold to basic Biblical morality
That love is a virtue
That service and kindness is better than cold blooded domination
But to whatever degree our secular society holds to these things, it does so without spiritual foundation
Today, even many in the church seem to be too intimidated and embarrassed to defend the Biblical account
The church is confused by the mutitude of "authoritative voices" who insist the Bible is either allegory or mistaken
Some are reduced to accommodating the world with a theistic evolutionary position

It's Just a Theory

Naturalism'd formula for the orgin of the universe is: NOBODY + NOTHING=EVERYTHING (that brought a laugh)
What about the big bang?
What was the cause of the big bang?
What went BANG?
Where di the bang substance come from?
How did order come out of chaos? ( Have you ever wrecked your house SO bad everything was where it goes?)
How did beauty and design come out of random chance?
How did life come out of non-life and death?
Who designed the many complex organisms?
Who designed the sophisticated eco-systems?
Where did intelligence come from?
Does the universe have an impersonal intelligence of it's own?
Where di the Laws of nature come from?
These are all basic unanswered questions that are quickly swept aside
The naturalist has an array of insurmountable problems to explain

Naturalism and Modern Culture

Thanks to evolution naturalism is now the dominant religion
Naturalism has replaced Christianity as the main religion of the western world
Evolution is the central doctrine of this religion
*It is religion because it is based on faith
*The idea that natural causes can account for the orgin of all life and order has never been and never will be proven (Amen to that!)
*Science deals with what can be observed and reproduced by experimentation
*The orgin of life can neither be observed or reproduced in the lab
*Belief in evolution is sheer faith (Takes more faith to believe everything "happened" than to believe in an all-powerful Creator!)
*But modern naturalism is extremely evangelistic is the propagation of evolution

I'll post the other one later. Time for tea and I have hand cramps!:P Meggy T

Shopped yesterday. Funfunfun! Afterwards Dad & Lane met us for Andy's concert @ Sweet Bay. Funfunfun too! He's good!
Been thinking..."what was I created for?" If you were to die right now what would you have accomplished in your life? Don't think I'm dying anytime soon because if I did there would not have been a whole lot of reason for God to go and create another person for what I did. OK that did NOT make sense! Point of the last sentence was I don't think I've done anything spectacular. Or maybe I have and don't know it. So if I die tomorrow just know I'm asking God what His idea was in putting me on earth!
Little side note I've been meaning to put but pretty late. If you don't care about football skip this part. Brett Favre is gone forever.Weeping and sadness! After playing as #4 QB for the Green Bay Packers for........somthingteen years! How shall the man ever be replaced? Who's gonna be my favorite player now? Ah well. I guess the age of Peyton Manning has arrived!:P Whoever my favorite is it's their age - whether they stink or not! How come my favorite team doesn't do so good? The teams I don't like end up being STARS! I mean what's with the Steelers anyway? Enough of this.
May God richly bless you and protect your favorite Quarterbacks from the vile serpent RETIREMENT!!!:P

Like the Picture?

It is me on my new throne on Christmas Day. Dad set it up last night. Turns out I tried to put a little banner thing on it and apparently put it in the wrong spot. And.....it messed everything up! Dads are handy! Haven't posted in awhile.
As of right now I cannot get to anyone's xanga. I hope to soon! Keep commenting people! Was gonna party with Britter but she got sick! Rats! Are you better yet? Went to Book Study at the Wingmen's instead. Still fun! Can't wait until the next high school fellowship! Should be even more fun!
I am currently reading a book all girls have GOT to read! AUTHENTIC BEAUTY by Leslie Ludy. Got it for my b-day along with I KISSED DATING GOODBYE by Joshua Harris I think. Haven't started that one yet. Glad its Saturday. Wet and Rainy and Nice. No school. Ahhhhh... To whoever's idea it was to have two rest days I think it is great idea. I bet everybody loves their Saturdays!!! Speaking of great ideas, I think somebody should invent an everything pot. So you don't have to wash 2 dozen different ones. Ya know, microwaveable, ovenable, stoveable, etc. (Meggy language):P
I go! Be Blessed

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!

Just as we get used to writing "06" we have to write "07"! Wingmen came over last night and we ate better than we did on Christmas! Meatballs and Hot Wings and veggies and chips and dips. Can't forget brownies! We ate and talked then we all played Apples to Apples and JA won. Pretty fun anyway!:P We talked the Dads into playing Lord of the Rings Trivia with us. Mr. Wingman & Dad were on a team, JT and Ronaldo were on a team, Lane and I were on a team, and JA was on a team. His own team. Think he liked that. So we have the Dads, The boys, the ladies, and the JA. The Dads were saying that they weren't very good but after they took 5 minutes to answer each question they got most of them right! But the boys were the first ones to acually get a FOR THE WIN question! Dad was saying, "I'd be so funny if they won!" But they got their question wrong. Should've seen JT's face!:D Ladies got one next and I dunno what happened. It was an easy one too and we missed it! Then the Dads got theirs and got the easiest one of all and they got it. Yelling and dancing and jumping and escatcy! I'm glad JA just didn't win and he was glad I didn't. So the games go on! They left aroud 11 and we watched Ice Age The Meltdown for the rest of the time. Funfunfun! It's another year closer until Jesus comes back! Comment me!
PS - Just thinking. Can gnats see germs? I mean us to a gnat has gotta be somewhere around the same as a gnat to a germ. Comment me on THAT!
