Feeling BLUE - the Color!

VERSE OF THE DAY: Light shines in the darkness for the godly. They are generous, compassionate, and righteous. Psalm 112:4
MOVIE OF THE DAY: Night at the Museum with Ben Stiller

Dad leaves today at 4 :( It was weird sleeping in our room without Lane in there! We went and picked up our mail yesterday cuz the post office was holding for us while we were gone. CALL TO BATTLE was in there! Hooray! My article was in front. People look in and they read that first article and go, "Oh, all these people write like that? This magazine's junk!"
From what I hear, the HUNTED movie that Lucas and Sunshine Princess are doing is going well. (I just couldn't resist the Lucas thing!) I keep forgetting to e-mail you girl! I'll see if I can after this post.
Dad got the NETFLIX thing and we watched NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM. It was pretty dumb, but cute and funny. He cussed though. It makes me mad when they do that! They don't need to!
I am feeling a little yuck today. I finished that Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde book that also has the Suicide Club, and The Body Snatcher in it. I won't be reading that again. The Body Snatcher is real short so i read it all at once and...it wasn't a good idea! I wasn't Daddy-I-need-you scared, more like uh-demonic-spirits-are-arguing-with-my-guardian-angel scared. I read some Bible and listened to Air 1. It worked great! Must go!

Emy J came over yesterday and I got some c-Yute clothes from her!!! Joyjoyjoy! Must leave!
Meggy T

Your Typical Jess

We were on the way to CO, ya know, driving in the middle of nowhere, when this bird just flies head-on into the windshield! He , uh...passed away. Not the brightest thing for a birdie to do I'm thinkin. Jess (he doesn't know the thing is dead) says, "Dad? We should stop and squeeze that bird!"
Dad says, "What?"
Jess (demonstrating): "You need to squeeze that bird! With your hands!"
Dad: "Squeeze it? Why?"
Jess (in a "well duh" voice): "Because it just pegged our car!!!!!!"
I don't know if it's funny to yall written down, but it was hysterical! He is something funny. I shall probably post again later. Interesting stuff happening ya know!

VERSE OF THE DAY: But now you must be holy in everything you do, just as God who chose you is holy. 1 Peter 1:15

MOVIE OF THE DAY: Sense & Sensibility

So we are back!!!!! Hellooo! We made this drive in about 13 1/2 hours which is the best we've ever done!
Yesterday was Dad's birthday and he's 40! He had snowcones instead of a cake. Funfunfun!
We also found out that day that our neighbor had passed away while we were gone:( She was like our grandma and she used to get us a bunch of ice cream and take us to Hardscrabble to swim. Please pray for her husband now.
So I'm back on Dad's computer! I actually haven't touched mine yet. The internet doesn't work for some reason. Anyway it feels good!
I'm finishing Woman in White now. Also reading THE SUICIDE CLUB. Weird sounding huh? Dad got it for me, and whenever I tell Mom about it she says, "What are we letting you read?" It's a little creepy.
Notice the movie of the day. We watched it while we were in CO and we (that is, the girls) loved it! Dad liked it too, but not really Sticks. I won it on eBay this morning too!! Looking for a fitting picture to stick on here....... AHA! Zekey in his new hat!!! Mom and Dad just found it lying on the ground and he looks SOOOOOOOOOO cute!!!!!!!!

This one's my favorite!<3

A Randomness Post

VERSE OF THE DAY: Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O LORD, do not abandon those who search for you. Psalm 9:10

BOOK OF THE DAY: Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde

It turns out I'm not staying longer. Here's the plan:

  • We all leave Colorado on Friday
  • Dad, Lane, and Sticks go back to Colorado a couple of days after that, while the rest of us stay in Arkansas for the month of August
  • Arkanesians prepare emotionally to leave AR to go to the Bs house in CO for what may be a long time if we don't sell the house in August.

So that's the plan. I was feeling real homesick yesterday. All of sudden, for some reason or another. *weird* Oo! Check it out! Tagg kids have a Book Review blog!! http://www.readitreviews.blogspot.com/

I guess you noticed the book of the day up there. Mom and Dad got us a bunch of classic novels last night!!! I'm about to go read that one. Since my last post I have read STEPPING HEAVENWARD. Me likey!! I've got a new video in the video section below too. It's my favorite song I do not have. We did end up losing that soccer game:( Waaa!

Leaving AR forever seems REALLY close now!!:( Tell me peoples, what will I miss most about AR? I think I shall now migrate upstairs and read my book. Laying on a bed is the best way to read a book I think. Cya!

Soccer Stuff

A few days ago Sticks got the opportunity to meet somebody in an honorable place in his hall of fame - LANDON DONOVAN!!!!!!! All of you probably don't know who that is (annoying:P). He plays forward on the USA National team!!! Come on!:P:P:P I got to go too, because he's in my hall of fame too, just his picture isn't as big:) I took the camera and got pictures. Sticks got an autographed picture and also snuck up on him and said a few words!!!! WOW!!! Here's one of the pictures taken by me...

He's got Dad's hairdo!:P
So Sticks had a tournament this week with Swoosh. We got a win and two losses and...we play the best team in the state at 2 today. He got 3 assists and a goal. Funfunfun! It wasn't as fun when we lost, but still cool that he gets to play! Mangnay came and watched yesterday then we headed to Emo's for burgers! Yum! One of Sticks's soccer friend's family offered to let us stay with them for awhile so...we might do that and stay for a couple weeks more. Dad just showed me how to get pics off of smugmug, so here's a SWOOSH team picture.

Zeke, Liam, Nate, Riley, John, Diego, Darius, Connor, Sean, Sticks, Connor, Roby, Jake, and Brendan

The kiss to the crowd after Sticks gets his medal:P

I'll let you know how we do today! Go Swoosh!

More on the Cancer Kidz

You've heard about these guys before, and now I'm telling you again! These kids need some backup! That is, lots of prayers!!! Cancer is something awful. Now my Grandma has breast cancer and it made me feel even more for all these victims and their families.
Elijah is 6 years old and he just relapsed with Neuroblastoma, when he's already been through treatment once. He was about my first cancer buddy and as you can see, the coolest one!:P It made me really sad when he relapsed because I had basically watched him all the way through it and rejoiced in his newly-recovered long locks every time I went to his site. He is such a trooper and I can't wait until he's done with this business.

Job McCully is one of my newer pals. He is now 9 and he's been fighting a whole bunch of junk since he was 4. He needs a lung transplant and right now he's in San Antonio waiting for some lungs to be available. Here's a link to his video that will make you think. (It's not youtube or anything): Testimonial (revised 2006)
Here's a sweet little thing huh?:) Savanna Hamm is a whopping 3 years old and is now to my knowledge cancer-free!! I don't really know a lot about her journey through PleuroPulmonary Blastoma, a very rare type of childhood lung cancer, but when I found her site I checked it about every day. I think it's because she reminds me of my three-year-old so much, and I could just not imagine life with him in that situation. She's so adorable and I pray hard she won't be so unfortunate as to relapse like some kids.
Remember that I have all these and more sites linked below! Pray for them much!! Even if you never meet them on earth, they teach you a lot.

A Saturday in Colorado

VERSE OF THE DAY: In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. Jeremiah 29:12-13
BOOK OF THE DAY: ELDEST by Christopher Paolini
Saturday today!!!! Love them!!! Dad made omelets just like he used to when he lived in AR!! They are yummy stuff! We went hiking on a really neat trail and saw wild mountain goats. They would just walk right past us! Like Emy and Grandpa's goats! (Bigger though!) I think they were actually bighorn sheep. We had a lot of fun and took a lot of pictures. Probably post those later! We were out there pretty much all day and when we stopped to get lunch (at 4) We went to this place like subway except it's wraps. They were really yum!
Oh! The other day Mom and I went out to find the public library here. IT WAS AWESOME!!! So big! So many good books! About every book! So elaborate that they have a little coffee shop in there! Not only that, but they let us have a library card even though we don't live here!!! I got ELDEST. It's not bad so far. Yesterday I was absorbed in a very action-packed, violent part in complete silence (You know what it's like) and Mom opens the door and says, "Meggy!" AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!(inside of course) I think I might've responded better if she had said, "Gather more reinforcements!!! The Ra'zac are attacking!!!!!":P So there's a few lovley things about CO.

From off the Face of the Earth

VERSE OF THE DAY: Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14
BOOK OF THE DAY: When God Writes Your Love Story by Eric and Leslie Ludy
That is in Colorado. Hellooooo! Internet hasn't worked upstairs, so I'm sitting on a beanbag Grandma gave Lane with the lappy listening to Air 1 on the radio. Yes really Nan, Littleton DOESN'T GET IT!!! Kinda sad, but good thing you can listen online!!! Bad quality, but hey. So here's what I've been doing:
There is not ONE SINGLE MORE THING that is gonna fit in our bus!!! Seriously, it is CRAMMED from top to bottom! So we went to Texas and hung out with Nana, Grandpa, Gram, Pawpaw, and Grandma. Funfunfun!! I went shopping with Louie and Nana to an awesome place and got some COOL CLOTHES!!! Waha! I think EVERYBODY loves new clothes!!(Thanks Nana and Gram!:D) So then we went to a Christian Bookstore and Grandpa got me a new book because he knew I had to have them!!!!!!! WHOA-HO!!! (Thanks Grandpa!:D) I got When God Writes Your Love Story by Eric and Leslie Ludy (Hi Britter! I finally got it:P) I freaked out as usual when I get a new book. In fact I read it in the car (which as my best friends know I CAN NOT do) and I finished it way before we got to CO!!! So we slept in Grandpa's guesthouse, which is totally GREAT!!! I think it's my favorite guesthouse, even better than this one we're in right now, but I'll get to that. We big kids stayed up at night with Dad and watched the PIRATES of the CARIBBEAN. Funfunfun! It was Mom's b-day while we were there, and we had white cake AND chocolate cake! I don't think she wants me to say how old she is....:P
Then we went to Grandma and Grandpa Tagg's place and saw them and Aunt Mich and Uncle S and Mace and Potato. Mace got big as in bigger than Dad (barely though). Funfunfun for the hours we stayed. Joey had to stay there. I wonder how he's doin...
And we got to CO after Bird threw many lovely fits. So now we're in a three story, three bedroom student housing unit apartment thing. Quite nice! Girls get a room, boys get a room, and Parents & Babies get a room. I've figured out if I had the option of having my own room or sharing with Lane and Lou I would share. There are more +s than -s of sharing a room. It's real fun to read, and listen to the radio, and tell stories, and talk all night! And we have our areas nobody's allowed to touch. So full kitchen and washer/dryer and all that jazz is cool. Sticks has a scrimmage tonight. {Bird just came and kissed the lappy:P} Okiday, I don't think anything else is happening... Oh by the way, pray for my Captain Spy Cousin he just got 9 TEETH pulled!!!!! Gotta be much no good especially at 9 or 10 years old. Yuck I say. Well I may not post as often, but...I dunno. I might. But see yall...sometime!!!

Packing Up!

VERSE OF THE DAY: For the LORD God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory. The LORD will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right. Psalm 84:11
Movie of the Day: FACING THE GIANTS (I got it yesterday!)

Dad's coming back in just a few hours!!!!!!!! Whoo-hoo!!! Been packing up my junk today. I hope we're allowed to check out books at some library in CO because I'm not taking WOMAN IN WHITE with me. It's not in travelling condition. So while I'm there I'm bookless. I think books are pretty high in my list of things that I need, not just want. I mean, whaddaya NEED ya know, besides your God, your family, your food, and a lifetime supply of books you like!!! So here's the plan:

  1. We go to Texas on Thursday. We stay there for....a good smidgen of a bit visiting Grandparents and such and dropping off Jo the Dog. Funfunfun! (They have goats Emy!:P)

  2. We set out for Colorado whenever we set out for Colorado:) and drive all day praying Princess Bird survives it again!

  3. We're there!!! Whoopee! We stay there for a long time (until sometime before August 1)

  4. We drive back. Small chance Bird makes it back without a 5-hour-long symphony this time, but hey, ya know all it takes is a knock out dart!!! (kidding, it takes five sleeves of saltine crackers!) And ya can't blame her, I mean she's too little to engage in interesting conversation or watch a movie or draw a picture or anything!

So I need to go eat. But later maybe I'll tell you about some yesterday and today fun. God Bless!

Life is Good (eternal life is better!):P

VERSE OF THE DAY: You guide me with your counsel, leading me to a glorious destiny. Psalm 73:24

BOOK OF THE DAY: Woman in White by Wilkie Collins
Wrastled with the lawnmower and mowed the front even though it sounds like its about to die the whole time! Mr. Walker says it time to get a new one. Amen I say!!! It rained before I could do the back, but I moved this flowerpot thing back there, and there was a SNAKE!!!! Thank heaven it was raining and I didn't have to be out there!!!!!!

We have been making a bunch of bows and arrows. They shoot really good! Now we all have one! The boys share one though since they're all the same size. We need to get some more of those wood rods you see in the pictures - except LONG ones!!! My bow's about as big as I am and can take a pretty long arrow. Here's some pics I took yesterday....

The Joshua focus

This is Louie's bow

This one's mine!

Mayfee with the boys' bow. He can shoot, but only if you're helping and he gets lucky;) Then it goes a long way! Speaking of said miniature man, he's got some sort of cough thing. It's not all the time, he's his same spunky self, and nobody else has caught it (clueless shrug). I think it's because this drunk germ got in and is not really functioning properly (and I guess we're happy about that!) The germ did really nail it last night though, because the little guy coughed so hard he puked all over the floor! Eeeeeeew. After he did it though he didn't seem to think twice about it, just told Lane quite naturally that "he had a lot of spit, so he spit and it was a big one!" That kid is hilarious. All of em are actually. He slept with me last night (it was Friday after all) and I wasn't very happy that he woke up a gazillion times to whine and cry or cough or talk about things. Usually just a pat on the back or a "Go to sleep Mayfee" fixes it. I WAS happy when he woke me up to say he needed to go to the bathroom even though he had a diaper on! He was still clean and dry in the morning! *Good boy*
We had cinnamon rolls for breakfast this morning. Yum! And we're gonna have pizza for dinner tonight...Yum! Dad's coming home in 3 more sleeps!!! *Life is good*

Girlfriend Fun

Verse of the Day:
This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent His Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.
1 John 4:10

Movie of the Day:
Pride & Prejudice Nan and Emy came today and we watched Pride & Prejudice. Funfunfun!!!!!!!!!! We talked through the whole movie (*DUH*) about....nothing? Teehee! They are awesome! I think I'm the most intelligent of them two....:P We've got to do dat again in some other form! Emy brought the chronicles of her embarrassing moments at camp! They were funny!!!:D:D:D:D:D:D
By the way, I am going to CO again! For the month of July. Comment my blog a lot you people cuz we won't be able to email!!!! We're having school there and all!!!!!!!! Well, I'm going to soccer with Sticks, so I need to go eat. Seeyous!

Posting

I feel I should post, though there's nothing in particular to post about. Lets see, Mom went to a garage sale and got a couple of patio tables and chairs. Louie, Sticks, and Lane have been painting them I think they're gonna finish that today.
I'm borrowing a book called WOMAN IN WHITE. It's not bad! Not bad as in I remember where I am while I'm reading it, but I still get the story. It's kinda mysterious in a way that makes your eyebrows go up a couple centimeters, then down as low as they can go.
Ummm...Oh, Nan and Emy are comin over Tuesday to carry out our scheme!!! That means we're gonna watch the new Pride and Prejudice (the best one)! Funfunfun!!!
Speaking of movies, my Facing the Giants one ran off from it's home in Mom's DVD player. We have no clue where an unwronged, round, shiny thing with a hole in the middle could've gone to. I'm offering up a reward for it to scheming siblings. So...it may be found. Things are mysteriously disappearing only to be found when you're not really looking for them. My camera did it once and I was transmorgified, but it was behind a couch pillow later. Huh I say! Ready for some drama....."WHY? (sob) FACING THE GIANTS WAS THE BEST (I THINK)!!! (sniff) O unfaithful DVD, we shall mourn your departure and eagerly await the day when you return to us as the prodigal son did, repentant and remorseful! We shall not give up our most desperate search for thee!" Teehee!!!!!! Rather untrue, everybody's at their leisure right now! Besides, LOTR is best anyway!
I babysat last night for Nellie and Willy. (Does that sound ironic to you?:P) They're really good though most of the time!
We went to church this morning and everybody was good (including Bro. Dale!). Just had a bean burrito for lunch and...here I am now. With Froggy. He smiles a lot now!
I guess I'll post about Scheme Day if nothing happens between then and now.
Seeyalater!

Happy First Day of Summer!!!

Bring on the heat - as long as it doesn't come near ME!!! Heat is one thing I am NOT gonna miss about living in AR. But Dad said it was 96 degrees in CO yesterday, but it's not humid or anything. Not much going on. Wingycousins came over today and we had some fun. I lost to Moff Jerrjerrod at Age of Empires though...ahem. Oh well. One of these days... I technically won at STAR WARS TRIVIA with him and the Captain but...kinda not. I know I just posted about fun with Wingycousins and you guys are probably going, "Yeah, yeah. Something else interesting please?" but not a lot has been happening worthy of internet recognition.

Oh yeah! Here's something! Lane and Sticks work for one of our neighbors who is out of town right now and she let us use her pool! Cool huh? I haven't used it, I'm not a huge swim fan. You throw me in the water and it'll be the quickest way to kill me short of shooting me in the head or stabbing me through...some of yall might want to know that:P Wrastled with the lawnmower again today. It won...I'm just BEAT today!!!!!!!! By humans AND machines!!!!

Have a Laid Back Summer!!!

Mayfee's so cute! He likes swimming too! It looks like a picture from a greeting card or something.

Dad's coming home for the 4th and Mom's birthday! Cain't wait!!! Sticks is then leaving with him again with maybe Laney to go to CO for more rockin soccer. Dad's coaching the SWOOSH 3 vs 3 team. Hooray! I wish he could film it or something.

I'm reading in the Samuels some stuff about King David. He's my favorite!!! His parts are pretty much my favorite parts. I'm done with him, but I'm probably gonna go back and the best parts. I skippy-dip through all the books I read. Mom teases me because once I know the characters in a story, I go to the end and see what happens. Then once I know I read the rest of the book. I read the last part of ERAGON today. If it's not a good movie it IS a good book!!

Make God laugh today!!!

Fun with Wingycousins!

We got to go to the cousins' house for a family weekly get-together thing they were doing. It was neat that they asked us because we aren't technically cousins! But it was really cool, we got to meet some of their real cousins. There was JD and he was real nice, we all got along great right away. There was Aust and Dyl, who were 4 and 2, and Jess, Jman, and Mayfee really enjoyed them. They were great! All the little boys had an awesome time finding little frogs and such. I wasn't that escatated when Just snuck up on me with one of those though! (He WILL be some kind of comedian one day!) We also met their Nana and Pawpaw, and their aunt and uncle who were all super-duper nice and great! We ate a bunch of sloppy joes, then played some whiffle-ball. It was really funny, Mrs. W separated everybody into teams so the ages would be right and it was all Taggs vs Wingycousins except for me and Drallen! So I was with the Wingycousins and the adults on our team were Wingyaunt and Mrs. W. Mom and Mr. W were on the Tagg team. It was really fun, and Wingys won!!! Yipee! Sticks was sliding into bases and such. He was the fastest one out there! Mayfee was even hitting the ball! Mr. W would say, "All right, look out everybody! Here's the big hitter!!!" He was grinning like a coon and ran the bases when he was supposed to. Princess Bird didn't like the idea of playing and cried some. She always wanted Mom to hold her and when she left it was either me, Lane, or Mrs. W. Another funny thing - she would kiss all the Wingy cousins but she wouldn't touch JD! She just looked at him with an "I don't know you, back off!" look and shook her head! She did like cookies and ice cream though!!!
When we got home that night we had a battle with a huge moth that was trying to take over our bedroom! We won though!!!(I think it was that one that we saw in the garage Dad) It was about the size of a big butterfly.
We went to McDonald's with everybody today because we were showing the house. I was petrified of that yucky place! If it were up to me, everybody that touched that play stuff would take a shower at home!!!:P I think it's Dad's fault I'm like that. He doesn't like germs and taught me in his ways!!!:P When we get back, we find that the people were running late and they didn't even come!!!!!!!!! They still want to do it today, but wherever we go - NOT McDONALD'S!!!!
I've been playing 3rd AGE on the XBOX and reading ERAGON today. Any good book I haven't read ideas? I'm out of books.
Have a Beeyoutiful Day!

I'M GETTING A CAR!!!!!!!!!!

Grandpa Gary and Mrs. Andie have an old car they're going to give me!!!!!!!!! HOOOOOOORAAAAAAAY!!!! They are just great!!!! I've never seen it, but Mom says it's ugly, Sticks says it's awesome looking and it's "crayon blue". I'm not that sure what that is, maybe the color of this font. And Grandpa Gary says it's indestructible! I bet Dad's happy that I'm gonna have my own so I won't take his preeeety car!!!!! I'll post some pictures once I get it. Now I'm gonna have to learn how to DRIVE!!!!

Season's Greetings!!!

That means it's HOT!! I have to go inside on a sunny day or I'll get wet!!! It's really sticky!!!!
I babysat all day today, and I babysit all day tomorrow. Not much going on. Sticks bought us girlys the LITTLE WOMEN movie today. Whoohoo! We're going to the TAGG END CINEMA at 2:00pm tomorrow! (Hey Sarah, our house is TAGG END so yalls house should be HOBBITON) Siblings went swimming, Bird nearly dove off the counter, and I met a weird clicking, bouncing bug today. It was weird, it was like a skinny beetle, that wouldn't crawl, it just made a click and bounced aimlessly into the air, looking like if you put a normal beetle into a frying pan, I guess hoping that that bounce took him closer to wherever he wanted to get to! Anybody know what that is? Here's a good song. Have you heard it? It's really catchy:
Britt Nicole - You
From the album: Say It
I’ve been looking for love in another’s eyes
Searching for water, but I come up dry
Thought that I could find Happiness in the world’s applause
Peace of mind in a worthy cause
Take me back, take me back
Got to trust in the simple truth
Got to trust all I really need is
(Chorus)
You
I’m coming back to You
The only thing I know worth living for
Will You take this heart and make it more like
You
I give it back to You
It’s obvious no one could love me more
I’m Yours
I’m coming, coming back,
yeah I’m coming, coming back
To joy that speaks to my deepest need
To arms never far out of reach
Yeah, how Your love it
Calls to me when I loose my way
Holds me close when I feel afraid
Take me back, take me back
Got to trust that I’m save and sound
Got to trust that it all comes down to
You
(Chorus)
So no more getting caught in the middle
No more waiting for what is unsure
Back to Your love so true and so simple
Don’t understate it or complicate it
It’s so simple, yeah, it’s so simple
(Chorus)

I am Back!!!!!!!

I do like Lakewood. It is real nice with mountains and trees and stuff. The traffic's not bad and it kinda feels like here. Except enhanced I guess if ya know what I mean. We drove by the BRONCOS stadium pretty much every day, and that was pretty cool! Sticks got to see the RAPIDS stadium while he was there. The drive there was not bad. Bird didn't like it, but she lived! She just waddled up and said, "Hi Maheey!" I think she's happy to be back. Anyways, we got to stay at the student housing apartment thing for CCU for FREE! It was really cool, it had 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen, 3 floors, and a washer and dryer. Sticks's team, SWOOSH, ROCKS THE BOAT!!!!!! They won their tourney and Sticks got like...3 assists or so. He's made new friends that he really likes, the coach is great, and the team is WAY better than Express. Watching the first game just made me miss Express because Sticks wasn't the only good player, I didn't know any of these new guys, and they knew what they were doing. It's kinda fun to watch it click with players and see how they apply the practice drills to the game and such, but SWOOSH could play SOCCER. REAL soccer. It was good to see some of that though, and I warmed up around the second game, and it was great fun! Here's the link to the pics...
http://www.thetaggs.smugmug.com/gallery/2990038#162776982
It starts with Sticks's kiss to the crowd when he gets his medal, but if you want to see the other game pics go back to the other pages.

The cheer:
Riley: "What sound does a toilet make?"
Team: "SWOOSH!"

Bird almost DID NOT survive the drive back though! She screamed and screamed. Poor lil thang! Poor US! But she quit when she found out that crying really didn't have a point and it wasn't fixing anything. It about rained all the way to AR! Good to be back though, except Dad didn't get to come:(

Please Pray

My Grandma H (my mom's mom that is) was diagnosed with breast cancer while we were on the trip. Cancer is just no good. I'm reading up on all these kids that have it and then it's somebody in MY family!!! We don't know a lot right now, but please pray!
I'll post about my trip later. I'm back by the way!

Going to Colorado

I'm leaving the blogger world for awhile. I am going to Colorado to see Dad and see Sticks play in his first tournament with SWOOSH. I am gonna have to learn all those guys' names so I can yell better! Mom told me that Sticks is getting on good with the coach's son. I can still not click that Sticks will not play for EXPRESS anymore. Maybe this will help me. I still think, "Hey! When he comes back he'll be in time to play in Dawg Daze!" But no. I hope all goes well. So anyway, Grandma T is coming and will drive - yes DRIVE - us to...Billy's place I guess. That's where Dad is....I think. I'll shall be back Wednesday next (13th)...I think! Don't listen to me, I don't know anything!!!!!:P So, faretheewell! Pray muches for everything!
Oh, by the way, I was flipping through Daughters of Destiny today. That's how I read when I'm out of books, just look at all my books that I've already read. Anyhow, I was reading about a brave settler lady and her husband. Indians came at their door and somehow managed to shoot something through the door, bust it open and fling tomahawks, or otherwise manage to give the husband a good knockout. When they started crawling in the door through the hole they had made, the lady got a big axe and smashed that one's head, then pulled him through into the room. His slow friend decided to try his luck and got a thwack too. Two got smart and left a friend at the door and tried a different way in. But they were too noisy at the chimney and the lady ran over to the feather bed, ripped it open and threw the feathers on the little fire. Preety soon two injuns come tumbling down and she bashes their heads (fire doesn't do the trick fast enough, ya know). Well that one friend by the door poked his head in to see what was going on, but when she swung at him she missed his head and just got his cheek. The Indian ran home and told his friends how a ferocious white woman was killing all the Indians who were fighting her gallantly, and how only he had been skilled enough to fight his way through with only a cut on the cheek!
The book is actually much more descriptive and violent than me. Oh well, I thought that was pretty brave and I could just SEE it happening! That's almost like Gimli, ya know? Haha!
