His kingdom come!!!
"I Tinuviel, in the year of the LORD, 2008, choose a mortal life"
Hello dear. I was just worrying b/c I hadn't talked to you today. A sad thing: my email is down. I'm using my gmail but can't receive the emails that have been going to my hughesnet account. Sadsadsad.
ReplyDeleteA happy thing: tomorrow is hsfellowship. Funfunfun.
Another sad thing: you won't be there. sadsadsad.
A happy thing: umm... idk. I got some Tinkerbell pencils and stamps and stuff today. That is happyhappyhappy, right?
I've read most of Little Women, which I started Tuesday. At this rate I expect to finish it tomorrow. I love that story. *sigh* Then I shall read the others. Tell me again which order.
I don't know what else to say but I feel like I must talk to you, so I am. I want to write more, I am in a writing mood. I mean, not comments, but stories. I wrote a poem the other night that isn't too dreadful I suppose, I mean to post it on my writing blog but haven't gotten around to it. (don't give me a round tuit, either) Maybe I will do that now. Anyway, I don't have time for writing simply b/c I spend every spare moment reading (or blogging :P). And I don't have the patience for it simply b/c my mind and imagination run much faster than my brain can translate through my fingers and to the screen in the best way. *sigh* Oh, the tragedies of life.
Ok fine, I will quit bugging you now.
Your Emy
wow, that was a long comment about so much nothing. and i need to change my profile pic.
ReplyDeleteYou wrote half a post all about me?!?! Thank you!!! I had so much fun with you yesterday!!! It was a blast!!!
ReplyDelete"I, Luthien, in the year of our Lord 2000 and 8, choose a mortal life." ('Cause I have to admit, being mortal by yourself stinks, and I can't let you do it alone.) ;) *tries to contain her laughter* Love you!!!
Hey em, that poem you wrote the other day was pretty good, I never replied to it, did I? Sorry... I liked it!
ReplyDeleteYou're such a good poet.
Cherise, it's a pleasure to hear about you! I'm the weird and crazy Lady Lana the Adorable who just married Sir Luke the Impossible.
Anyway, glad you're there to take care of our Meggy - please make sure she doesn't marry any orc. We need you to do that, because Emy and I aren't there to do it ourselves.
Orc is fine, but not an orc.
If she doesn't explain that to you, then you are just going to think I am an absolutely insane person. Which isn't really true.
:)
Oh, and hi Meggy, to whom this comment section belongs, glad you've found friends up there in snowland.
I loved the pics of you on emster's blog, btw!
Cherise, I guess I can introduce myself, too. I'm Emy, the... idk. Just Emy I guess. Take care of my Meggy for me, ok?
ReplyDeleteNo, Lana, I don't think you did. I thought maybe it was that awful. :P jk. If you liked it, I'll post it on my writing blog.
I Cherise (cool name!) I'm Jazlynn, future bouncer (I don't care what anybody says! I will be a bouncer someday!) Just one thing I need to know about you. Are you annoyed by irrelevant questions?
ReplyDeleteOh, and I meant "Hi Cherise". I'm not Cherise, you are! Ha!
ReplyDeleteJazzy, just... don't ask her about water, 'K? we don't want to scare her away.
ReplyDeletenah, Em, don't be silly! I just got busy and didn't reply to the email right away, and then it got bumped down in my inbox and I forgot about it
:(
sorry.
but, I have redeemed myself! yay!
Isn't little women so sad! I cried so hard! Like, every time I read it, not just the first time.
ReplyDeleteBut, you already knew that...
ReplyDeleteWow, Yana! We post at the same time!
ReplyDeleteWowzer trousers!
I mean commented!
ReplyDeleteWow, I stink at this whole typing thing...
Wow Jazzy honey, are you ok????
ReplyDeleteJazzy is Jazzy. Well, actually, I guess she really isn't, is she?
ReplyDeleteBut she's good at riding the ripstick.
I haven't got it down yet.
Emma helped me try after church wednsday, but then Luke saw me fall a couple times, (I landed on my feet, come on! It wasn't bad.)"I think that's enough for now, dear."
I don't get the title, MT.
ReplyDeleteOh, the title is just something I heard Dad say that day:P
ReplyDeleteNo, I am not annoyed by irrelevant questions. :) I, Luthien, solemnly swear to take the utmost care of Meggy T (T for Tinuviel!) and protect her against all romantically-inclined orcs. (I had no idea everyone would start commenting to me on Meggy's blog! Wow! Thanks for accepting me into the 'group'!
ReplyDelete(Meggy, you have to tell me what the difference is between Orc and an orc.)
Ah, well it's like this (and tell me if I get this wrong people):
ReplyDeleteI said on here once that orcs were cute, then there was a debate on whether or not I'd be allowed to meet and marry one in college. Lana finally said I couldn't, but to console me, we decided to call the guy I will marry someday "Orc". (Oh, and Jazzy had a large hand in this:P)Everybody else calls theirs "Prince Charming" and I call mine Orc:P So, Orc is fine, but not an orc. Heehee!
Don't worry, the force is strong with you!
ReplyDeleteAnd no! I've very not okay! And that is okay! Okay?
Ah, happiness becomes me!
And thank you Meggy! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteNot "I've" I meant "I'm"
ReplyDeleteI'm a cruddy typer! Today, my brain is elswhere.
Oh dear. Well, I'll tell you if I find that brain.
ReplyDeleteAnd weren't you supposed to ask a question?
Meggy, I don't call mine "Prince Charming". :P
ReplyDeleteBut, hey...
Hi Cherise, I'm Hannah, commonly known as Nan, I'm...uh...me. :P I'm Lana's sister-in-law...
Anyways, I'm going to comment on your blog too. :P
Anyways, need to go, I think.
Love ya!
Nan
Something else, Cherise...
ReplyDeleteYou are a very, very lucky girl. Don't take living near Meggy for granted. I'm very jealous of you.
Meggy, you are exactly right about Orc and an orc.
ReplyDeletegood job. :)
Luke read that, and remembered the previous conversation, and he really isn't sure how Orc is going to feel about being called Orc. My reasoning is, if he is Meggy's Orc, he will be happy to be called Orc.
Still, I call mine prince charming. After we were courting, that is. Before I knew who my husband would be, I think I just referred to *him* as 'future husband' but after I knew 'future husband' was Luke, I called him prince charming :)
Well mine is "The Guy"... lol Meggy and I came up with that years ago, remember that, Meg? But I guess she switched hers to Orc.
ReplyDeleteI call the man I will marry my 'future husband', like Lana. However, my dad calls him, 'the one suitor who survives the encounter with me'. *laughs*
ReplyDeleteI also solemnly swear that I will never ever take Meggy for granted. (She is just too sweet to take for granted!)
Meggy, I wanted to tell you that I love the title of this post! My aunt has a book of funny quotes, and I think I need to email that one to her. ;)
I am open to any questions! Fire Away!
GASP! I'm sweet?!?!?! Wow!!!!:P
ReplyDeleteYup Emy's is THE GUY:P Except once we gave him a more elaborate nick-name but I don't member and I dunno if Emmers wants to talk about it... heehee!
Nan what DO you call yours?
Hi, Cherise, I figure I better be like everybody else and introduce myself.
ReplyDeleteSo, I'm Tony, or Dawgmike, whichever you prefer. Sunshine princess is my sis, which makes Luke(aka warrior) my bro-in-law, which also makes him very lucky.;P
I'm kinda... weird, but so is everybody else on here *cough*Lana*cough*cough*
Do you have any brothers? If you do, please send them to my blog. Because, counting myself, there are only four of us guys, which kinda stinks.
Hey, Meggy, do any of your bros do blogs? anybody? please?
btw, you should probably know that Lana and I will quote movies like crazy if you get us started, as long as we can remember what comes next... :P
Sorry Dawgmike, none of my bros are bloggers - yet. Sometimes Sticks comments Keel though, so maybe I'll send him to you. *Yall poor souls*:P
ReplyDeleteTony who is the 4th?
ReplyDeleteMeg it was just a name... I have it written down somewhere.
And Meggy tell me your secret. How come no one every comments me?
ReplyDeleteB/c it is hard to comment on homeschool blogger! I don't like it at all!
ReplyDeleteTrue.... sorry...
ReplyDeleteAnd even when you do, sometimes it just doesn't show up.
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for putting the link to our blog on yours, Maegan.
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you Cherise. Welcome to the group.
Tony I'll do my best to keep an eye on your blog in hopes of starting some type of discussion.
Respectfully,
General Drallen AKA Jerry
Drallen I have a story to tell you and your bros. Meggy I suppose I *could* just post it on my blog but it's sooo much better when I tell it in person.
ReplyDeleteHi again!
ReplyDeleteNo, I do not have any brothers (or at least, I didn't last time I checked. ;). Sorry.
I do have to admit, commenting on Homeschoolblogger does stink. Are there any other reasons why blogger.com is better than homeschoolblogger? Just curious.
~Cherise
It's MUCH easier to personalize your template!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd hola Drallen
Actually, it may be EASIER, but there's a TON more you can do to a homeschoolblogger template, I think.
ReplyDeleteNah, you can download any template you want, AND you can edit the HTML just like HSB
ReplyDeleteHaving not worked with homeschoolblogger, I don't really know.
ReplyDeleteI do know, though, that some of my friends on homeschoolblogger have problems with their templates chopping off the side of their posts (Hannahelizabeth's is doing it now, and Emma's too.)
I like the way that blogger lets you tag your posts, and the archive systems are awesome, the way you can set the time of your post is cool, it autosaves your posts while you write, and saves drafts when you close out. You can make a private blog that only invitees can read (I actually have one for a book I'm writing, because blogger was a good way to organize it, so I use it like a word program, really.)
And there are other benefits, too, I know, but I don't know what all they are b/c I don't really use them all...
Cherise, you have NO brothers!? that's very sad. Emma doesn't, either. Tony is just one of my bros, I have another one a year older than me, and three younger than Tony, and one sister, and another sibling in utero (I hope she's a girl!) and you better believe I miss them like crazy.
Well Meggy you can do that on HSB too. And, Lana, I think the choppinoffpost problem comes from making the template yourself, it would do that on blogger, too, I believe. AND, you can make private blogs on HSB too. lol (and no, I"m not getting paid for this :P)
ReplyDeleteDrallen: There's no need to wait for a good discussion, just jump right in! There's almost always something weird/dumb going on!!;P
ReplyDeleteI'm just gonna stay out of your HSB vs. Blogger discussion...;P
Well I'm saying Em that you can do that with HSB AND you have other quick options.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, Drallen, it's always weird on Dawgmike's blog. Just dive in and hang on
I don't know crud about either.
ReplyDeleteNan and Emy do all my junk...
It's ok to be technologically retarded:P
ReplyDeleteGee. Thanks. I prefer technologically impaired.
ReplyDeleteImpaired? Or handicapped?
ReplyDeletechallenged.
ReplyDeleteWOW, this is comment number FIFTY! Aren't I special.
I think it means MT needs to post.
It may mean both:P
ReplyDeleteHey, I posted... you should try it sometime.
