Packing Up!

VERSE OF THE DAY: For the LORD God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory. The LORD will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right. Psalm 84:11
Movie of the Day: FACING THE GIANTS (I got it yesterday!)

Dad's coming back in just a few hours!!!!!!!! Whoo-hoo!!! Been packing up my junk today. I hope we're allowed to check out books at some library in CO because I'm not taking WOMAN IN WHITE with me. It's not in travelling condition. So while I'm there I'm bookless. I think books are pretty high in my list of things that I need, not just want. I mean, whaddaya NEED ya know, besides your God, your family, your food, and a lifetime supply of books you like!!! So here's the plan:

  1. We go to Texas on Thursday. We stay there for....a good smidgen of a bit visiting Grandparents and such and dropping off Jo the Dog. Funfunfun! (They have goats Emy!:P)

  2. We set out for Colorado whenever we set out for Colorado:) and drive all day praying Princess Bird survives it again!

  3. We're there!!! Whoopee! We stay there for a long time (until sometime before August 1)

  4. We drive back. Small chance Bird makes it back without a 5-hour-long symphony this time, but hey, ya know all it takes is a knock out dart!!! (kidding, it takes five sleeves of saltine crackers!) And ya can't blame her, I mean she's too little to engage in interesting conversation or watch a movie or draw a picture or anything!

So I need to go eat. But later maybe I'll tell you about some yesterday and today fun. God Bless!

  2. Heya meggy,
hope you had a good trip to texas.
Oh, btw evybuddy. Our phoneline (and therefore internet) has been down since the big storms, so if anyone was wondering why I was long in responding to emails, that'd be why. But now it's fixed...
Anyway, hope your family (now I'm talking to Meg again) has a great time in CO, and that Bird survives well. Does she like to sing songs? That's one of the things that help our little non-travelers through car trips. Of course, a lot of times they don't sing, only listen...
