Good throws make good catches. Horrible throws make outstanding catches.

VERSE OF THE DAY: For you are all children of the light and of the day;we don't belong to darkness and night. 1 Thessalonians 5:5
Livin life. So here's what's new...
Grandma H made me some curtains and pillowcases to match my quilt. And are they awesome! Haven't hung the curtains yet, I still need to get a rod. Linens & Things is having a sale, so I think Mom and I will go there. Zekey threw a tantrum when Mom dragged him away from the dog's water. He put his head down on the ground, snot and tears running freely. I just finished listening to the audiobook of Quiet Strength by Tony Dungy. That is a great book! Now I'm finishing the Pride & Prejudice podcast. Reading INKHEART to get an idea of the movie. Some bad language, so I'm a bit concerned for the watchers' welfare on account of Hollywood's lean toward that. But I dunno, maybe it'll be good. I hope it will! In church we're starting a new series on heaven. You don't hear a lot of sermons on that, and it was pretty good! There's so many things to imagine about it that we don't know. Also reading FAIREST out loud to the girls and it's just great! Reading Jane Eyre and skipped ahead to make sure she marries the guy. She does, so no worries. Here's where they meet the dwarf in my book - the rough copy.
The woods were quiet. Very, very quiet. Trojan walked along, gathering firewood - dead firewood, and keeping a watchful eye for Human Orcs. It seemed impossible that they could be so near in such silence. He picked up a dry branch and turned back toward the camp. He heard a twig crack behind him. Trojan whirled around, hand on his sword. Nothing. Just woods. He slowly walked backwards towards the camp, and heard somebody breathing behind him. If this was Huntram or Lendryn, he thought, they had better hold sufficient reason for stalking him. He turned his head, and there stood a small, stout being, with a firey red beard, axe at the ready. The dwarf received a face full of wood, while Trojan whirled around again. A rough looking man darted behind a tree and fired an arrow at him. Trojan dodged it and let out a eagle call, which was the emergency signal for the others. He ran towards the tree, but the bowman was gone again. "He must be a ranger or an elf" thought Trojan, facing the dwarf. The axe swung here and there with a couple of near-misses. Eldarion rushed up and the surprised dwarf felt the cool of metal on the back of his neck. He froze. Trojan and Huntram kicked around in the bushes for the bowman, but he was nowhere to be found. "Drop your weapon!" Eldarion snapped to the dwarf.
"Never!" he barked back. "I pledge my weapons, not surrender them!"
Eldarion raised his brows. Lendryn could tell he was impressed. "Rarely have I seen such bravery, nor such foolishness. Tell me," he said, allowing the dwarf to turn around. "Since you pledge your weapons, I wonder who you pledge them to? The highest bidder, perhaps?"
The dwarf looked disgusted. "You jest! Once a dwarf's loyalties are set they are set in stone! My allies are those who hate Gastro and the Human Orcs"
Eldarion nodded musingly and sheathed his sword. Huntram expected the dwarf to strike, but it did not. "We may keep the same company then. What is your name?"
"Maab Kuldar of the Iron Hills."
"That's where we're from!" Huntram blurted excitedly.
"Silence!" Eldarion snapped.
Trojan was still angry. "And who was your friend?" Maab looked curiously at him. "That sneaky fellow with the bow."
"He is Gage. And he's not with me."
"And how is it that you two travel this land in which you have no business?" Trojan asked in a rough voice.
Maab looked his hate. "I have not pledged my loyalties, not to you, cloaked man. What do you suspect of my business to ask it? And how comes it to be your business to ask mine?"
Eldarion took over. "Why are you in Mirkwood?"
"I could ask the very same question to you!"
People could only toy with Eldarion for so long. He raised his voice and drew his sword again. "It appears that you are at our mercy, so if you want to spare your life than you will do yourself a favor by answering what I ask you!"
Maab's face became more controlled but he remained undaunted. "I do not give information until I know who I am giving it to. Who are you and your companions? Where do yout loyalties lie?"
"This is Trojan Strongsword of Gondor. These are Huntram and Lendryn Shaster. This is Brithil the Elf from Mirkwood. Our loyalties lie away from the king."
Maab waited. When he got no further introduction, he asked "And you?" Eldarion glanced at Trojan, who kept his eyes on the ground and shook his head.
"I am Cyras of Gondor. Now tell us your business."
The dwarf seemed hesitant to answer. "I seek a man."
"What man?" Trojan snapped.
"Eldarion son of Aragorn." Trojan, Brithil, and Eldarion maintained their expressions, but the boys gasped and looked at Eldarion. It did no harm as Eldarion was already speaking. "Your search is over, Friend dwarf. I am Eldarion son of Aragorn." Trojan made an astonished noise and looked as if their whole quest had been betrayed. Eldarion continued, "If you are a spy which I see that you are decidedly not, we are too many for you. If you are a friend, look into my eyes and see that it is so."
Gee whiz, that is awful. And the only reason Eldarion knows he's not a spy is because he has certain abilities. It's not foolish assumption. Please don't think any less of me for having a terrible bit of scribble on the internet. I'd better leave, the spell check on this thing is going nuts! Heehee!

2 good things

VERSE OF THE DAY: He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone. This is the message God gave to the world at just the right time. 1 Timothy 2:6

#1 best: A few days ago, I received a birthday box from my awesome gorgeous Arkansas friends!!!!!! Thank you yall wonderful sweet girlfriends!!!!!! I loved ALL the stuff and all the cards and all the notes and everything!!!!!!!!!! It is doubly great to know I am still thought about in the magical land I fled by the prettiest girls in it!!!!!!!!! So the title of this post should really be, "4 good things" but oh well. I am coming to see yall soon and I'll give you all the biggest squeeze ever!!!!! I love yall and miss yall bunches and muches and all other expressions that have the general or somewhat relative meaning of the phrase: "A LOT".

PS - While speaking to all Your Coolnesses, if yall could pray about the productiveness and controlledness of my Bible study, It would very much appreciated. I haven't been as "on the ball" with it, per se. Thanks!<3
#2 best: It's not THE BEST, but it is a "good thing" so I shall say: Eli Manning (aka: BOY) is going to the SUPERBOWL!!!!!!!!!!!! Deathly sad for the Packers. Shed three tears for Favre. Wanted them to win somethin awful. But I just can't manage to be MAD at Eli!!!!!!!! I've never wanted the Giants to lose before, and it's good to have another Manning in the Big Bowl, especially as this one almost lost his job earlier this season. It was below zero out there, seriously, and like a teen QB vs. a 40s QB. Good ol' Favre. I hope he doesn't leave us now. But I must say I am happy, very, very happy for the Manning boy. Now the Superbowl will be torment: a long, slow, grinding, defeat that crushes confidence, body, mind, and team under a white, silver, red, and blue cleat. Pain and sorrow for Archie's baby:( I'll hate to see him lose, but it'll be be beauty miraculous if he wins. And for the record, I BELIEVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BTW, little excerpt from the Tagg dinner table tonight: Sticks the 11yearold, at a very slight mention of the subject, says in a 1% clueless, 20% exasperated, 89% "I'm older than I am" voice, "How come women (word said in a contempty attitude) always for no reason start crying?" followed by a graphic (and pretty good) impersonation of Boo-hooing. Dad says, "Son, if you could get the answer to that, you could write a single paragraph "Why women cry for no reason" and charge thirty bucks and every man in America would buy it." LOL

Snaps for Brothers!

True Peyton didn't lead his team to fame and fortune. But his dear brother, Eli Manning took his New York Giants to Dallas to beat..... ROMO and the DALLAS COWBOYS!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so happy for the boy and happy that the Cowboys never got any better than the Colts. Now let us watch an inspiring clip of Peyton beating Eli up.
God Bless us every one!

Why? WHY????????

VERSE OF THE DAY: Let your unfailing love surround us, LORD, for our hope is in you alone. Psalm 63:3 (How does the verse always fit pretty good? I guess now my hope is that Dungee stays!!!!!!)
My Indianapolis Colts lost to the chargers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BARELY!!!!!!!!!! Why? WHY?????????? Please do not laugh in comments, this is extremely unfunny. They have to leave!!!!!!! They're done with this season!!!!!!!!! Peyton the Manning threw like 2 picks!!!!!!!!!! Addai and Keith kept switching out as RB b/cuz they were both hurt!!!!!!!!! Bob Sanders (NFL Defensive player of the year) got smashed up and became a benchwarmer!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In the final seconds Peyton knew what he had to do and nothing got done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! To the CHARGERS of all things!!!!!!!!! Without even LT!!!!!!!!!!!! Top it all off with the Coach extraordinaire Christian best-selling author perhaps Tony Dungee LEAVING US!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been crying ever since. Let me leave you with some pictures of the team I will not see till next season. Play some sort of sad song in your head. I don't want to think of one right now.
Quarterback Coolness
Victories are a thing of the past:(
Our kicker Adam Vinatari

"Here's what we gotta do..."

"What kinda call was that?" I couldn't agree more.

Reggie Wayne, I feel your pain

Dungee and Manning... *sniff*

I need to babysit soon so I should stop my groveling and weeping and gnashing of teeth and my barrowing that can only come from the bitterly bummed out. I can't help it!! Man, don't yall hope I don't play fantasy football next season? Then what shall become of me? I want to play anyway though.

God please bring my favorite coach back and bless every bit of Horseshoe Hotness next season!

Birthday Cool Stuff!

VERSE OF THE DAY: Look upon me with love; teach me your decrees. Psalm 119:135

Now commences the post about my birthday.
I woke up and we had some bread and gravy. Yum! Then Dad let me open an envelope. It was a card that had Will Turner and Jack Sparrow on it. When you open it up, it plays the Pirates of the Caribbean theme! Heehee! Inside it said, "Wanna go to a wedding for some fun? Maybe in May?" HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks Mom and Dad!!!!!!!!!! I was SOOOOOOO wanting to go to Sir Luke and Lady Lana's wedding!!!!!!! Arkansas, here we come!!!!!!!!!
Then Lucy gave me a neato pink desk chair for my new computerdesky thingy! Sticks and I put it together. There was also this box from Grandma H that I wasn't supposed to open until my birthday. It was a REALLY pretty quilt she made!!!!!!!!!!!! It's purple and white and a little bit of green. It looks awesome on my bed!!!!!!
We went to church and got back. Dad and I went out to eat lunch at Fuddruckers. I'd never been, and it was pretty good!!!!!! Went home, hung out, went to Home Depot for something and Emo and Mangnay came and gave me cool money!!!!!!!!!!! Neat!!!!!!!!! We had mexican for dinner, and Mom and Dad and Me and Lane watched Le Miserables with Liam Neeson and Geoffrey Rush. Not the best movie really, but rarely is there seen better acting!!!!!!!!! Awesome fun day!!!!!!!!!! Then the next day I woke up and I was still 16! I mean, how cool is that!!!!!!!!!!
Next day Mom and I went to the movies to see ENCHANTED. Goodgoodfunnyfunny! See it! Cute scene down there where I put videos. Today I took Sticks to National Treasure for Christmas. That is a GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD movie!!!!!!!!!!! I love it!!!!!!!!!!!
So the moral of the story is, I am STILL 16, there ARE good movies out there, and Arkansas SHALL taste my there-ness soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"My command is your wish"

Indeed it is!
Last post I shall write being 15. Got a neat-o birthday call from Britters, Bekah, and Cole, and the latter gave her Dearly Beloved some vital messages from me:P So.... what do I post about? Lessee... some highlights of the year...
  • Moving away from Arkansas and my awesomest friends. That's not a cool one, huh? Well, the thing about said awesomest friends is that they call me and e-mail me and some visited and all kinds of stuff so I don't feel AS far away. (I'm still counseling Emy, I mean, how far away could I be?:P) You guys are amazing!
  • I got a Frog! An 8 pound one with blonde hair stinkin straight up out of his head! But now he weighs a lot more. He's really neat! He also occasionally goes by the name of "Zeke." Sometimes. But now he's cutting his first tooth (of course frogs grow teeth) and chewing on crackers and stuff! He also always want somebody to hold him. I'll tell you when he says his first word! He's the sweetest little guy.
  • Everybody but me and Lucy got the chicken pox. Brand new thing! We had a bunch of "chickens" for a while! But the chicken party was fun. Chickens like the Dickens, but no extra eggs. How does hat work?
  • I got a closer to friends I didn't know that well!
  • This is my first year in about three that I didn't finish the Bible. I would say that stinks, but I didn't want to this year. For this time it feels better to read and see what God has for you than feel like you're on a schedule.

I do believe that is not all, there's tons of stuff more that happened important in this year, but that would take a VERY long time to say! Besides, I think yall know most of it, thanks to this personal blog I've had for... just second lemme check... about 2 years now! Here's a lesson to you blog deleters (aka: Britter, Brando, Cole) When you are famous someday, then die, people won't know the history of your life! So keep your blogs and write away!!!!!

I think I'm done rambling about randomness of 15. See you when I'm older!:P

Something Lane wrote today...

VERSE OF THE DAY: The one thing I ask of the LORD— the thing I seek most — is to live in the house of the LORD all the days of my life... Psalm 27:4

"Hello there. It's me. A mouse.
I may be small, but I'm the scariest animal in the world. Now, all you have to do is sneak in the kitchen and suddenly dart across the floor. But! Do NOT do that when a man or boy is in there. Trust me. IT HURTS!
But there is no greater joy than to scare the life out of a girl or a mom!
It is AWESOME!"

Yup. That's Lane for ya. Not to mention the wonderful illustrations of a screaming female with eyes disconnecting from her head then said female falling onto the ground and decomposing.
Great. Wow. Amazing.
Please can I get a lot of comments folks? Those are particularly desirable right about now. Dunno why, but.... Bye!!!!!
