Meet Bob

Hello everyone!
I should like to introduce the newest member of our family......

BOB!!!!!

Bob is awesome. We love Bob. He has been with us for about six months now.
"6 MONTHS!?!?!?!?!" You shriek. "Why didn't I get pictures as soon as he came along?"
Well, it's because Bob isn't technically our kid. In fact, he isn't technically a kid at all.

Bob is the Tagg imaginary friend.

Yep. That who he is! We like him a lot. He sleeps in the extra bed in the boys room and sits at the extra spot at the table. Though when it comes to work, he's not very good at it. He never makes his own bed, or cleans anything up, or helps put away groceries, or anything! Not to mention he leaves socks on the trampoline and makes a mess in our rooms and stuff. We get kinda mad at him, and wonder how he gets away with it.
Some of us are a little jealous.

BUT that said, Bob is pretty nice. He's a good listener. Not so much for talking, but that's OK.
Well, there you have it. Now you know Bob. He gives a shout-out to my -48754 faithful readers out there! :D He's a nice guy.

It's true.

Happy Birthday Bird!!!!!!

Can yall believe the Bird is gonna be 4???? That means not a baby anymore! It's funny, because it seems like she was just this....
And now she is a little more like this!

She's still kind of the same though...I remember very well when she was about...I guess 3 months old I was holding her and Dad was doing something goofy and she looked at me and rolled her eyes!!!! :P It was great. I should prolly mention some things about her, as it IS the babyhood graduation....

  • She responds amazingly to physical touch. It's her little love language. And if she's trying to sleep and you go hold her hand or snuggle she will be out within 5 minutes :)
  • She is a lot like me on her annoying side. She tells it like it is (or is not) and has little emotional spells. She's pretty possessive, but I think that will graduate to "protective" as she gets a little older :)
  • She's hard to buy for. She doesn't play with dollies like Lane and I used to. She likes to carry "That One" around and have baby doll things, but they just aren't ALL THAT like they were to us early Tagg girls.
  • She likes pretty much all food, but she only picks around at it for two days straight, then eats a crazy amount on the third day, repeat :)
  • She was determined to have "Kitty-Cat cupcakes" (the hello kitty ones at Sams) for her birthday.
  • She loves to have braids in her hair
  • She likes to talk. A lot.
  • She is really smart. I'm hoping she'll write one day!
  • She can look cute and sweet eve while she's throwing a fit
  • She likes painted toes and her makeup set :)

A moment of MEMEME

I feel very bad and depressed and sick.

0 things running through my head except that every little kid on the planet is against me. Which is weird, for me.

I walked around for 5 minutes this morning looking for my pajama pants, which I happened to be wearing at the time.

I'm bummed that we won't get to see my Bekah tomorrow cuz we're all sick.

My baby J has an ear infection and he's at the doctor and I'm 99.9% sure he'll come home with the swine flu.

I can't write a darn thing. My brain is dead. Nothing going through.

I don't want to do anything. Weird. Cuz (I think) there's always SOMETHING I want to do. But I'm pretty sure I do not want to do ANYTHING right now.

I will never read through the Bible in 90 days again. Ever.
I'm not even sure how my day could be made to be any better. Usually I know, and like a phone call or a note or some chocolate would do it. But I don't particularly want to talk to anyone and I have some chocolate and I don't want to eat it.

Back to the blogoshere? Maybe?

Oh yes indeed - for now. At the pressure of many friends I am posting. But I'm not appeasing them entirely - I'm not posting on HSB hahahahaha! The Meggy impossible streak strikes again!! Just to catch you all up with what's up with me... I post again.

First matter of interest - We are moving back to Arkanesia. I don't truly want to, as I'd tragically miss my most amazing church family that has really been a family, my dear friend Cherry and everyone in our hs group, fencing my heart out, and numerous other things. But there are some things I'm excited about moving back for too, so we shall stop talking about this. It is an unpleasant subject.

If you want to keep up with me, get Facebook. Don't say you don't have time if you are a blogger. You just type a status, give your friends' statuses (stati... statusss...?) a quick once over ON THE SAME PAGE and get off! And keeping in touch with people is soooooooo easy! It's an amazing thing even my mom is on!

Church potluck today was awesome! I love AHBC and will miss it like the dickens. Though things are coming together that make me feel better about leaving. I was playing keyboard for the services and dearsweetdarling Nikki stepped up and said she'd take over for me! Dad was leading Saturday night service and awesometalentedmusicallyinclined Clayton stepped up and took it over without a glitch! I had been teaching funnyhelpfulstinker Andrew drums and he got good enough to play for service and I was loving it. But then the drums were going. But just as Dad was going to give them up, a box of brand new drums for the worship team showed up and surprised everyone! I tell you what - GOD IS AWESOME!!!!!! Like my mom said - "if God wants drums in the service, He'll send them". I believed it - just didn't figure He'd send them before I left :) Speaking of wonderfulawesomesweet church family, here they are now!
Jen, Pam, and me
Me and Megan
Me, Uncle Melly, and a bottle of tea (I'm ducking backwards way low heehee!)

The 4th was fun! Had cuzins over for burgers and hot dogs, went to service and played for the last time :(, and then we all went to Shelley's for cake and fireworks! The real fireworks were delayed too late for us, but we still saw a lot of good ones :)

So there. This is my post. I hope everybody is quite happy with it, was it worth all the hype lol? Maybe I'll post again soon... maybe :P

Concert!!!!

Last night I went with Pam, Jen, and Rommel to the Bread of Stone/VOTA/Decemberadio/newsboys concert!!! We took our seats in the balcony and got ready for da show! Bread of Stone was up first, and they were pretty great! My reputation will be ruined if you listen to their stuff on iTunes, but they were TONS better live!!!!!! They were one of the loudest bands with lotsa guitar and hot drumming! So when they get a LIVE cd, buy that one:) But check them out and see what you think!

THEN.... VOTA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They were amazing!!!! They sang Alright, Hard to Believe, Honestly, and Free to Fail - basically all the songs I had hoped they would sing!!! I was so excited!!! You can download a special album of theirs for free at http://www.peoplescitymission.com/ As Rommel pointed out, we could've gone home right then and I would've been satisfied, but Decemberadio was up next!!! They sang a couple new songs, Everlasting God (pleasant surprise) and even some hymns! They set the focus for some great worship time coming up after the intermission when... MICHAEL TAIT comes up as the new lead singer for newsboys!!! I knew he would be doing this, but I wasn't expecting it so soon! The crowd went nuts (like newsboys was the main attraction of the night or something:P) and the newsboys were magnificent!!!!!!!!!!! Michael Tait did a great job, and since he's Michael Tait, they sang Colored People and In the Light!!!! Since I still call DC Talk one of my favorite bands, I was insanely happy. As the Newsboys they sang their good ones like I am Free, Breakfast, Something Beautiful, Shine, and the like. They did some worship time with Blessed Be the Name and I think Amazing Grace and some other great ones that made everyone praise God. It was really amazing - worshiping God with a zillion other people I didn't even know!
After the show was over we rushed down to try to get to VOTA first. Failed miserably, but I worked my way through the free download crowd to say hey and get them to sign the little poster I made. I had earlier made an "I heart VOTA" shirt that I was wearing and they said, "No way!" "You made yourself a shirt?" "It's our first fan!":P They signed my poster and made some video of me with their phone! Then when we found our camera holder we went back and they signed my shirt and we got a picture!!! I'm still in estcasy:) Actually the lead singer didn't just SIGNATURE the shirt, he actually wrote his nickname (Bry) with a little smiley face, as I discovered later:D

Didn't take long to get a picture with Decemberadio either:D They were real nice and complimented my little homemade poster while signing:)

It was a superfun night! Thank you to Pam and Jen and Rommel for taking me and thank you to God for inventing concerts, since they are the awesomest things in the world!!!:D

Me with VOTA (Supercool!!!!!!!!)

Me with Decemberadio (Cool!!!)

Whoa! It's a DOUBLE blog party!

This shall make history, ladies and gentlemen! I'm glad you all could come to this momentous occaision! Now, without further ado...

Happy Birthday Lane!!! Lane is now 15! So Lane, believe it or not, this is what happened on your birthday three days ago. You went out to check the mail, and the owner of the zoo is running toward you. He says, "Are you Lane T?" You're a little freaked out, but he quickly says, "The zoo is in desperate need of your services! Most of our zookeepers have chicken pox and the others are on vacation and we can't bring them back cuz their wives just had babies!" (That was somewhat of an inside joke to all you curious onlookers:P) So you gasp and go to the zoo in the zoo guy's limousine!
Whoooooa! I want one! But anyway, now you're there at the zoo. You find yourself in one of those weird brown uniformish getups, then are shown the animal feed. You are a little nervous about walking in there at first, but since the lion and the more dangerous animals mostly look like this:

you don't have a problem. You feed all the animals, but you have a LOT of fun when you put on a rubber suit and join the sea lions!!! You THINK you're having the most fun ever, but when the zookeeper thanks you for all your work and gives you the baby sea lion to keep, you go a little nuts.

His name is Martin! You take him home and show everybody, but it turns out that he is not your biggest surprise. You look in the backyard and find that the boys have filled the trampoline up to the top of the netting in Red Flavored Fluffy Puff Translucent Dessert Related Substance! You jump in and have all sorts of fun, then hose off and come in for presents. Wait, AAAAAAA! Halt! Erak! What are you doing here? How'd you get in this blog party? Get out! Now!

Shiverys. Anyway, let's get to it. You get...

And no, it's not two inches long. And one more...

Gandalf comes and gives you his staff to use for one day as a birthday surprise! You turn several of your brothers into unnatural things and give the dog the toes of a dragon before you finally get the darn thing figured out. But soon you're flying around and make us a nice cookfire on the... kitchen floor. We are all very relieved when Gandalf comes to take it back. AND GUESS WHAT HE DOES WHILE HE'S HERE???

BIG FIREWORKS!!!!!!!!!! Huzzah!!!!! We have a lot of fun until the cops show up and give us a ticket. Oh well, it was still awesome:P

Now to the NEXT blog party!!!! J-dude is 8!!!!!!!!!!! Happy birthday Bah-bah!!!!!! For your blog party, you wake up and find...

A zillion awesome airsoft guns on your bed!!! You take them outside and shoot a bunch of people and rabbits and the like, until...

A member of the 501st rushes up to you and salutes. "We need your help sir!" He says. "The droids are too many! We need a Jedi!"
You smile and say "No problem!" You pull off your top layer of clothes...

And you are Jedi Joshua!!! You force run to the scene, where the droids are killing the clones. You turn all the droids into scrap metal!!! Yoda hears of your great deeds, and puts you on the Jedi council! All that action made you hungry, so you go home and eat...

375,497 pieces of pizza!!!

Present time!!! I give you a big box of robot parts and you build this robot!!!

He is called Bday8!!! Mom and Dad give you...

A bunch of old coins worth a lot of money!!! Oh wait, there's someone at the door!

Hi Ronaldo!!! He says happy birthday to you and shows you some new awesome soccer moves so you can smoke everybody! Hooray! Those kids don't stand a chance!

Welp, that's it! I hope you both had lovely blog parties! Lots of love!

Aw... I shoulda brought a bomb.

Thought I might post on what's been up real fast...

Two field trips this week! One at National Weather Research Center and one at the Earthquake center. I took yearbook pictures at both, and that was fun! I may post some of them down here soon so everyone can see some of my new people.

Lucy's sick:( So I'm staying far away.

I wrote a fanfic for RANGER'S APPRENTICE for Lane and Lou. Meant to be a few pages, turned out to be over 14,000 words long. But twas quite fun.

My darling Cherry inspired me to write more of my wizard story, but I need some ideas now...

Fencing is AWESOME!!!!!!! Need to work on not getting too excited and losing all technique:P

Took the standardized test for the state. If I don't score about perfect I'll be pretty embarrassed. It was ridiculous easy.

Bird slept through the night in big girl undies! And I was happy...:) She's getting big, and that gets good and bad:P

Buzz the pup has been pretty good.

I was innocently trying to get some eggs, and I set my plate on the stove, and that burner happened to be hot, so when I picked my plate back up... Yeee-ah. My finger's all scabbed up and it itches:Z

Soccer season is back! Funfunfun!

Dad just got an electric guitar and effects pedal!!!!!!!! It is pretty sweet!!!

If you ever see a free V-synth GT keyboard sitting out in front of somebody's yard, get it and bring it to me, because it's $3000 and I want one:0 Shriek!!!!

Um... what else? Ooo! The time changed! Cool-ish.

I have a new idea, read it here.
Just finished babysitting at church after I forgot and then got a call and then scrambled over there super fast feeling like a ditzy jerk.

Haven't talked to my Emy in forever, courtesy of wacky phone plans that have no consideration for the feelings of mile-away friends. Need to really bad now, so maybe this weekend.

And now, ladies and gents, here are some pictures... if I can get it to work... aHa!

Look it's Lyddi!!!! At one point in the field trip we had nothing to do but take pictures in 3D glasses:P That's a little small, huh? Let's go bigger... um... hurry up and load...

Ah, here's Cherry looking scientific!:D

And Sticks lookin cool!!! His quote is the one I used for the title.

Dewey in the glasses havery!!! (that's weird to spell... ya know... have - ery?)

So I'd post more, but it's taking forever and I'm going to bed, so if you want to see more coolity, go here. I think all the cool pics are on page 5.

Peace out and lotsa love!

Da MEG

Happy Birthday Drallen!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy 16th to Drallen a day later than it actually happened!!! That is to say, this blog party is a day late. But better late than nary. Or counting your chickens before they're in the pudding. Let's see... to get started...

You get a box in the mail with 6 tickets to Colorado! As yall pack, you aren't as happy as a few others that hang around your house, as you know you are going to get beat by me at quite a few different games. But it IS a plane trip, so yall get here in time for lunch, and then we break out the cake!!!

And yes, he is a cake!

Time for presents! Your mom and dad give you...

a lightsaber! Bring out your inner Sith.

Jax and Jakers steal...

The Declaration of Independence and frame it so you can put it in your room, and JT got you...

A ducky. With little flowers on it.
We Taggs gave you...

A million dollar bill!!!!!!! And THAT makes you quit singing the Bare Necessities like nobody's business!!

Oh wait, look who's here!

Jack and...
um, Jack.

Our seafaring buddies say happy birthday, and spend some time talking to... each other. (and it was an interesting conversation, I'd seriously love to see that:P) Wifi and Empress also show up and we talk a lot of Trade Wars.

Alright, enough fooling around. We set up the laptops for Rise of the Witch King (and it does NOT take two hours and eighteen minutes) and see if the Wings can overthrow the Taggs as the champions of Battle for Middle Earth 2. And guess what? They do. Blasted Dwarves.

Then we do some Red Alert 2 and I try to regain some honor. And guess what? I don't. Blasted Russians. (and you have no idea how much it stings to say that:0)

Let's see... *checks watch* it's about 5 in the morning, and yall must to getting back to the Middle of Nowhere. Everybody says the goodbyes, except me - I'm still bedridden and hyperventilating from the overdose of defeat. You walk out the door and look around for your shoes.

I think they look nice up there, don't you?:P

Hope you had an excellent blog party and have a great rest of the year!!!!:D

You know writing this out made me seriously want to send yall 6 airline tickets... except I can't cuz I'm still in my bed hyperventilating. Drat those Dwarves and Russians!!!!

My People

The other day we big kids went to B & J's birthday party. These guys are the coolest! A bunch of other kids from our homeschool group were there too, and we played football, kickball, silly string war, a little frisbee and had a jolly good time! My Dad got pictures, so now I can FINALLY gratify some of yall's wishes to see some of my new friendses and people!

B with some coooool shades. He turned 13.

Me. I was called "Miss Bob Sanders" most of that day.

JJ. He and B are brothers and he turned 10.

A little height perspective... doesn't SEEM like I'm that much taller!:P It's actually real fun having shorties for friends:)

The totally awesome Gracie-pie. The tall guy in the back is That Willson. That Willson is taller than my Dad and he's 12. Yes. Shorter guy in the front is Jake.

B signaling safe. Wishful thinking - he was out by a mile!

So folks, this is just a smidge of what I do in CO and who I do it with - funfunfun!!!!!
