Summer's almost done?

School is about to start back up! Tell you what people, I have been SOOOOOO blessed this Summer! I've been thinking of some things that have been happy for me that I'm thankful for this season. Let's see...

New Macbook Pro!!! Well...maybe...

Yup, that's what's up. Digital Imaging class and then 2D Design later! My funnest classes, though they go really long. I've nothing really to say...school has been great, homework has been fun, my professors are all crazy. Yesterday I was emotionally out-of-wack and really tired so God said, "Aw, Meg it's not the end of the world. Know why? It's free ice cream day at school!" YAY!!!! And then I was happy. God really knows when to pull out that ice cream huh? 

Um...oh, guess what happened last night? I was fooling around with my homework trying to make it all extra artsy looking and THAT apparently altered the space-time continuum and make all the clocks go suddenly to 11:00pm! So, that's what happened last night if you're wondering why it suddenly flicked from 9 to 11. Well, 3 minutes till class is supposed to start. I'd better post up and get ready to see Mr. Dr Seuss-tee-shirt-with-a-sports-coat-over-it-with-jeans-and-cons. That's what Mr. Sir likes to wear :)

Hello all :D

How's life? Figured I'd tell how mine was. In short, very happy :) In long, wellllllllllll ummmmmmm...

 I'm getting ready to graduate! :D Yepyepyep! It will be fun to see what all God has for me after high school. I love being pretty much done with it, it makes for a nice, laid-back schedule. I can skip a day of school to go nannying or to play with my Wingys and not feel awful like I need to catch up with school, cuz it's pretty much already done! :) Nice.

We got new tile in the dining room. Looks nice. I'm just happy it's done, cuz my "negative energy" as Caesar Milan calls it, goes through the roof during home rennovation stuff :P

We had our Jr/Sr Formal! It was sooooooo fun, I got to dress up! Look at my fb for pics :)

We tried out TKD last Tuesday....REALLY FUN!!!!!! :D Next time I'll be more over the first-time fear factor and will be able to enjoy it even more :)

We went playing with the Wingys today...airsofted. WAY awesome. I love my gun. And my sibs. And my Wingys. And my Jesus. Just sayin.

All the greenery is emerging! We're getting the spring clothes out (yes, tis a wreck) and I dare to think that it will not snow again! :D I look fat in shorts, but oh well--I can wear skirts. But I love the warmer (emphasis on the ER) weather and when flowers start peeking out again. I love flowers. This weather makes me stand outside and laugh out loud for no reason--that's why the neighbors think we're crazy I'm sure. But I wish the wasps would stay out of my spring, and soon it will be HORRIBLE hot. But oh well, I'm having what fun I can :) God is so creative with Earth isn't He? It just makes me excited and happy.

And does anyone else besides me think it's cool that your saliva glands produce 6 cups of spit per day? I mean, who besides a Mighty Creator could think up a thing THAT cool? Tell me if you ever think of anything, cuz I sure can't :)

Writing Stuff

Welp, now I am a writing teacher! Sorta. I'm teaching a co-op class off the book REACH FOR THE STARS Writing Workshop by the fabulous Susan Marlow (and featuring me :D). I've got 6 fun-lovin boys and a few with some real talent from what I can see from the two weeks I've been doing this. Real fun. I think we're gonna talk about showing-not-telling this week. Always a fun lesson.

AND going down to my younger grade tutoring. The elementary class with the boys was fun today. They've been doing well with their adjectives, so we decided to put them to work today writing a story about a secret agent that sneaks into Wal-Mart and removes a bomb and saves all the people (while listening to intense music of course!). The got SOOOO into it. Each boy had a different storyline...

He sure has the writer's brain. He'll be amazing one day...I've said so ever since he was less than a year old, arranging magnetic letters on the fridge into fun, Sci-Fi names.

Sweeeeet huh? :D I'm proud of all my writing boys. Oh wait I have a girl too! In the junior-high division. She just did me a literary analytical essay on THE LAST BATTLE by C.S. Lewis. I purple-penned it over just a minute ago. She really put some good thought into it! Course it needs a little structure work, but the content is really good, I'm impressed!

But oh, a tragedy. My purple pen is running out of juice! I'm a fun pen kind of chick, and I had one of those big huge, stick-o'-dynamite looking ones that I used for EVERYTHING. Twas a purple-blue ink which made it good for editing. I like black better when I write for my own purposes, but this one was good and VERY used. Then Lukey the Penbreaker took it apart when I wasn't looking and I'm sure this put my pen into a state of trauma, for a couple days later it quit working. For three days I scribbled through sheets of paper, watching for a splash of blue. I shook, licked, blew...but to no avail. And I haven't found another big one since. I decided to move on with my life and find another pen somehow. I dug through the junk drawer and tried pen after pen, but those kind you buy in bulk rarely work to my satisfaction. Then a friend (not knowing my plight) sent me a cute purple pen. It wrote pretty...not fast enough for rapid brainstorming, but perfect for editing people's work. I dubbed it my editing only pen, and called it....The Purple Pen. Then my Gram gave me a pen for Christmas that looks like a candy-cane. I checked the color and consistency on my hand right off the bat and the ink was black! And it flowed wonderfully without globbing or quitting! Perfect! The Candy Cane is my Thinking Pen. I use it for school and to brainstorm and to take to class. It tends to fascinate people. I also have this New Year's Resolution to use up all my blank notecards by sending them to folks, and a found a couple of black pens that look boring, but they are of different consistencies and they each work well on a certain kind of paper. The Black Twins are my letter writers. How did I get off on this boring story? Yall don't even care, just me! :P Why do I write these things...oh well. All that to say, THE PURPLE PEN IS GOING OUT!!!!!!!!! I need a new one. One with a color besides blue or red and thick ink. I suppose The Purple Pen deserves to rest in peace...I've edited a whole Ethanator novel, many childrenses school papers, chapters in creative writing class...much has the mark of the signature Purple Pen.

Oh yes indeed - for now. At the pressure of many friends I am posting. But I'm not appeasing them entirely - I'm not posting on HSB hahahahaha! The Meggy impossible streak strikes again!! Just to catch you all up with what's up with me... I post again.

First matter of interest - We are moving back to Arkanesia. I don't truly want to, as I'd tragically miss my most amazing church family that has really been a family, my dear friend Cherry and everyone in our hs group, fencing my heart out, and numerous other things. But there are some things I'm excited about moving back for too, so we shall stop talking about this. It is an unpleasant subject.

If you want to keep up with me, get Facebook. Don't say you don't have time if you are a blogger. You just type a status, give your friends' statuses (stati... statusss...?) a quick once over ON THE SAME PAGE and get off! And keeping in touch with people is soooooooo easy! It's an amazing thing even my mom is on!

Church potluck today was awesome! I love AHBC and will miss it like the dickens. Though things are coming together that make me feel better about leaving. I was playing keyboard for the services and dearsweetdarling Nikki stepped up and said she'd take over for me! Dad was leading Saturday night service and awesometalentedmusicallyinclined Clayton stepped up and took it over without a glitch! I had been teaching funnyhelpfulstinker Andrew drums and he got good enough to play for service and I was loving it. But then the drums were going. But just as Dad was going to give them up, a box of brand new drums for the worship team showed up and surprised everyone! I tell you what - GOD IS AWESOME!!!!!! Like my mom said - "if God wants drums in the service, He'll send them". I believed it - just didn't figure He'd send them before I left :) Speaking of wonderfulawesomesweet church family, here they are now!

The 4th was fun! Had cuzins over for burgers and hot dogs, went to service and played for the last time :(, and then we all went to Shelley's for cake and fireworks! The real fireworks were delayed too late for us, but we still saw a lot of good ones :)

Two field trips this week! One at National Weather Research Center and one at the Earthquake center. I took yearbook pictures at both, and that was fun! I may post some of them down here soon so everyone can see some of my new people.

I wrote a fanfic for RANGER'S APPRENTICE for Lane and Lou. Meant to be a few pages, turned out to be over 14,000 words long. But twas quite fun.

My darling Cherry inspired me to write more of my wizard story, but I need some ideas now...

Fencing is AWESOME!!!!!!! Need to work on not getting too excited and losing all technique:P

Took the standardized test for the state. If I don't score about perfect I'll be pretty embarrassed. It was ridiculous easy.

Bird slept through the night in big girl undies! And I was happy...:) She's getting big, and that gets good and bad:P

Buzz the pup has been pretty good.

I was innocently trying to get some eggs, and I set my plate on the stove, and that burner happened to be hot, so when I picked my plate back up... Yeee-ah. My finger's all scabbed up and it itches:Z

Soccer season is back! Funfunfun!

Dad just got an electric guitar and effects pedal!!!!!!!! It is pretty sweet!!!

Haven't talked to my Emy in forever, courtesy of wacky phone plans that have no consideration for the feelings of mile-away friends. Need to really bad now, so maybe this weekend.

Ya know what I love?

No, not the smell of that rubber handle on the putter that you know like a thousand other people have touched. THIS is a list of what I love in no particular order!

• The Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. They each do such wonderful things and I see them working in different ways.
• 
  
  My family. Immediate and extended. I love the funny dads (or daD), goofy brothers, giggly sisters, cocky cousins, crazy uncles, and all and everything in between!
• 
  
  My church. AHBC. Everyone there is like family - you can talk theology one minute, argue song lyrics and football teams the next. Start out with Bible study, and end on the time when a mouse ran out from under the dresser. Laugh or cry as needed. Great people, great pastor, and I love every part of it there!
• 
  
  My friends. They call me on the phone if I don't live near them. We can laugh and cry together. We can talk about everything!
• 
  
  Books. God gave me approximately... (quick count) 7 unread books to read at once. It has been so much fun being swamped with books after a dry spell!!!

  The Colts. And so does God. Love the Colts, that is:)

  Christmas food. It's good stuff.

  Time to run on the treadmill and burn off all the Christmas food. Which... I have not had in about a week and definitely will not have tomorrow... dear, dear.

After some serious soul-searching, I have reached a hard realization: I like Milky Way better than 3 Musketeers chocolate.

It is true.

I have decided thus because Milky Ways have the whipped chocolate AND caramely stuff, and the chocolate of the outside is thicker. That's the deal.

Um... what have I been doing? Oh, NaNoWriMo. National Novel Writing Month. I am officially not going to get 50,000 words by the end of this month. Not that I wouldn't like to, but I just do not have the time. Can I do it? No. I cannot. But I will meet it in battle nonetheless.

Started reading LEFT BEHIND. Good book.

Went rock-climbing with our wonderful homeschool group. Fun! Made it up two different levels of wall before I had blisters all over my hands and couldn't move my arms:P

This football season's going real well. My Colts and Giants won yesterday. And I'm gonna win this round in Fantasy Football too, so who knows? Maybe I'll make the playoffs after all!!!

Let's curdle a little blood, shall we?

My corp has unofficial lost this round of Trade Wars. Pain and agony. Nobody except my clan and the Winguys know what I'm talking about, but we went in last night and tried to wipe out the evil base. We failed. Many of us died. The worst part is that I lost my precious cool Battleship, the Ofaic Thezeqoc. I had pulled this ship in and built it up from nothing! I saved it from the depths of junkyardom! It did excellent work for me. Then we just took her into the path of the qcannon, knowing 100% she would die, just to give us some cover. And she blew into a million pieces trying to save us! Oh, my Thezeqoc! I miss you so! *sob*. When we couldn't nail bigbadbase, we tried to pop Ferrengal and ran outta money before we succeeded. By then, Drallen and I were the only ones alive. Next round I dunno if I'll go red or blue or whose corp or what, but I know I'm gonna have a battleship named the Ofaic Thezeqoc.

STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS was released in theaters today! I can't decide if I think it's gonna be totally cool, or just plain lame. Hmmmmm... Chief and the Winguys are seeing it as we speak, and they're supposed to tell me how it is.

Preseason football has begun!!!!! I'm happy about it. The Colts are pretty weak right now, as all the starters are hurt, but that should be fixed by the time the season starts. Superbowl, here we come!!!!!!

The Olympics are also back!!!! USA basketball team is doing excellently.

Saturday we're going to the zoo. Cooooooooool.

Don't sweep the top of a skyscraper

Lucy and Lane and Mom and me just got back from SAVERS (the awesomest thrift store in creation) and Lane and Lou got some cute shorts. Lou even found some brand new cute green crocs! As in, real croc brand crocs. I didn't find any clothes :( but I found a book! We stopped at a garage sale and I got a cute necklace. So we're cool this Saturday! I think I need to babysit more:)

Got to play at Cherry Luthien's house Thursday! We had a jolly good time talking a lot and listening to ENYA. We've got a date to watch extended LOTR now!!! Huzzah!!!!!!!!!!

Let's see... finished another school book. Mom's getting me a bunch of stuff for CLEP tests now. OoOoOoOoOoOoOooo....

And interesting news: BRETT FAVRE IS BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But not with the GB PACKERS. He says he thinking on signing with Chicago or Minnesota! I'm pretty happy, I'd rather him play than not play, but I'd like him to stay a Packer. But they won't have him. It'll be weird to see him not in yellow and white and green and number 4 and a big G. Oh well. Welcome back 2-time retired legend!!!!!!! Be wise, make me happy, and sign with Chicago!!!!!!!

Now posting on what's been up with me, myself, and I.

First of all, does anybody know any good baby names? I ask because we shall need a spectacular one around March! Hopefully for a girl. Or two. Yep that's right - the 10th Tagg kid is in the making:P!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got to play with Luthien Thursday, and we played swords and listened to music, and had a jolly nice time!!!!!!! Do you believe this: Luthien is a LOTR fan and she has NEVER seen the extended editions!!!!!!!!! How can it be? It is against the law!!:P We plan to remedy the situation presently! Oh, and I have read your excellent chapter doll, and shall e-mail you concerning it soon if I don't get too lazy!:P

Had a wonderful 4th! Aunt M, Uncle S, Mace, Potato, and Miss America came over and we roasted hot dogs and marshmellows. Lane made a jelloish flag cakish! We played wiffle ball: Girls and old guys against just plain guys. We smoked them. Played flag football later and... whoever was on my team with me got sorta beat:P Mace played some drums for THOUSAND FOOT CRUTCH and I did the vocals and guitar solos with the help of a handy spatula. We were amazing. We were in the ZONE:P When it was dark, we went out and whatched fireworks that others were illegally setting off - yes we're great people:P Played a little BATTLEFRONT II with Tate, and it's already over.

Mom's birthday was on the 6th, but I don't think I should say how old she is:P But she got some bread pans, some planners, and..... a PINK iPod Nano!!!!!!!!!!!! She has named it Bella and likes it very much. Hey, maybe I'll throw her a late blog party later!

Today we went to the library. Picked up the SCARLET PIMPERNEL!!! AND while I was in the little bookshop I saw...... THE THRAWN TRILOGY FOR $3!!!!!!!!!!! That's cheaper than you can find those blessed books anywheres! So, what did I do next? Nab them!:)

Reading in the book of Samuel - both. That I think is the most descriptive and exciting book in the Bible! Why has no one novelized it??? I have no idea. Maybe I'll remedy the situation myself soon!

Right now I'm going to take the LOVE COMES SOFTLY movie we just rented and work out on the treadmill. Just had a 3 Musketeers bar, so I must be like, 10 pounds heavier!

Our church is doing a Beth Moore ladies bible study that I'm doing. It's REALLLY good! But this week I have two memory verses cuz last week I didn't know about the little tear-out cards in the back. Heheh. Numbskulled me. But this is the one I'm working on right now...

Got out the spring clothes. Like none of them fit! That's underjoying. But Emy gets them all, so she's happy.

Also underjoying is that our aunt last night had to go to the emergency room to get her appendix out. AND our Gram fell and broke her arm and hurt her leg and she had to get stitches too. Yipe! Pray for them two.

Oh, yeah and THE WINGMEN HAVE HI-SPEED INTERNET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am overjoyed and now they know how beautiful it is:P Now I can send them videos and all that jazz I couldn't do before. But it kinda stinks that the Moff is on Wookiepedia a lot now... I won't stand a chance at Star Wars Trivia. I shan't make the challenge. I already have an appointment with him and the deathbed because my shallow intellect has proved itself yet again! I-I-I... agreed to watch ELLA ENCHANTED with Emy while I'm in Arkansas. It's not the movie - it's just that I shouldn't have fallen for her!;P I already made a deal of just 2 of her movies... and I called Vader's Wingmen... and now I'm deciding just how I want to die:P Thanks a lot e-MY! And the crying thing didn't work sweetheart. Oh, well I'll just escape again!!!!;P I beat Boba Fett at the whole escaping idea!:P

Gotta babysit in a few minutes. I toured the CCU campus yesterday and got a bunch of papers I need to look over. I'm planning on getting what they call "An English Major with an Emphasis on Creative Writing". Neat-o!!!!!!! I should talk to Lana about the whole CLEP ordeal. Lana, did you CLEP any classes? But it's cool, the CCU student writers put out a magazine with their work! How cool is THAT??? Really cool!!!!!!! Got my Peyton Manning jersey in the mail this week!!!!!!!!!!! I love it and it is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got pics, but they're not on here. Also got a couple new Sanctus Real cds on my iPod. Dad has decided that he really likes them! They ARE good. Also got a Dc Talk doubletake cd with the albums JESUS FREAK and SUPERNATURAL. Me likey!!!!!!!
