Wingycuzins are AWESOME!!!!!!

VERSE OF THE DAY: Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see. Hebrews 11

Yes folks, a few adventurous daredevily Arkanesians dared drive off the edge of the map to come visit the coloradigan Tagg End! It was sooooooooooo awesome!!!!! They stayed... uh... 3 or 4 days!!!!! Lessee if I can member a lot of stuff we did...
They got here in time for dinner on Thursday through about a foot of snow. Joy and ecstasy at the Tagg house! Ate some chili (and the food was good the whole time, Mom just asked me that) and then we gave the guys a tour and launched right into a full blown nerf gun fight. (No, they weren't tired after driving 14 hours. You crazy?:P) Then Dad and me and that JA went to play Rise of the Witch King on computers. Dad kicked me out of the game with some overboard petty-shooting. Then JA got him. Then we all went to bed.
Day 2 we got ready to sled!!!! Grabbed the Christmas sleds and headed to Caradrass in "the most snow Jake's seen in his whole life" with the dads. Dad took a bunch of pictures! Here are a few:

Comediantennis screamin like a girl!!! (Ok, not really. But screaming nonetheless)

Now for the hike back up the hill...
Mr. W!!!

Lane being a nut

Lane & Lou!

At least 2 of these guys are hitch-hikers!

Things REALLY started poppin when Lou and Jax started building a ramp! Here's Jake's attempt. Heehee!

Jax does the ramp weird!:P

All smiles!
Face-down flyin off the ramp
!

Sticks zinging
Lucy off the ramp *ow!*

Snow flies when Lane blows through!!!

Drallen & Comediantennis snowfighting

Is it possible to be the Joker AND the Penguin?

Jess getting some help on the hike home
I could post a zillion more but for the time and photo quality (kidding Dad). We sledded every day.

After having some hot chocolate and lunch, we... did all kinds of stuff! Heehee! Played some XBOX and all that jazz. Dad's laptop junked up. We had another egg nog night and watched MEET THE ROBINSONS again! Funfunfun! Then JA and I played that game again. And I lost again:Z So ANNOYING!!!

Next day was.... Saturday? J-dude watched his first of LOTR with Return of the King! He wasn't scared even (Emy). Played BATTLESHIP with Jakey and won! Cool! Jakey's awesome cuz I beat him!:P He's awesome for other things too, but that's beside the point people, stay ON TOPIC! Went to SAMS with Dad, Lucy, and Drallen. Had brisket for din-din and played JA. Lost again. Starting to become quite uncool, doncha think so? Drallen doesn't think so >:-[

Sunday we went to church. Then played star wars trivia and lost at that. HOW WEIRD IS THAT? I don't know what was wrong with me but I played awful! Checked out some Spy Corps FSS papers with the Squad and got those taken care of. Jakey's proved his stealth, Sticks has proved his eyeballs, and JT's proved his mettle. And his metal. Watched At World's End over the best food in the world (mexican) and had a universal vote that the first 2 movies were better. Dallas Cowboys lost that day as well. Hallelujah! Played JA again. Built a wall for the first time and then he insisted on attacking my base before I got all the points I wanted. I lost in half an hour. ARRRRRRRRRRRRRG! His Firey Catapults and Dwarves took out my stupid Ents. Let us skip the details. I need to branch out! Gonna build me a troll hero and try some new teams you son of a dark lord!!!! Then he beat Sticks pretty handily and took about 3 hours to beat Dad. I hear they finished at 2am and I fell asleep about 1:30 I guess. I need to beat Dad. THEN I can beat Drallen. They all left this morning and I'm sad:( Even though I let that dude get a perfect record. But I called to catch up with Emy and I plan to call them Wingys afore they get home. It's all too much too soon ya know? They're here, then they're gone. Slap me thrice and hand me to me mama. Well, it's worth bein sad now cuz of the awesomeness of having em here then. Besides, theysa comin back in the summer! And Lady's clan is comin in the spring! And it's New Year's Eve! No being depressed!

And BTW, let us start a dispute about grammar. "Dismount off ___" or "Dismount___" which is right?

Happy, Happy, joy, joy, JOY!!!!!!!!!!!

VERSE OF THE DAY: Thank God for this gift too wonderful for words! 2 Corinthians 9:15 (again, I don't pick these!)

This shall be quite a long post. Hang with me. Hope yall had the Christmas of the century!!!!!!!!!!!! I actually woke up before Bird (whoa) and woke her up (accidently) and we read Luke 2 together. Looked out the window at six inches of new snow and more coming down. What a beautiful white Christmas! Then we get the: "Ok! Ready!" Then everybody comes out of their rooms and we see a bunch of new sleds and crossbows!!!!!!!!!! Cool!!!!!!!! Good thing it snowed!!!!! Dad read.... Luke 2 :) and then we ripped into the ones under the tree. I got an iTunes card, cool shoes, a necklace, a Star Wars book, and we all got a treadmill and exercise bike a bit earlier!!!! Funfunfun!!!!! But the awesomest part was giving Dad his iPod Classic (baby)!!!!

Then we all didn't eat and headed out to use the new sleds on Mt. Caradrass. Fun it was!!! Then we all went to hang out to do random fun things all day until the day was over.

I'm usually oober-sad the day after Christmas. But this time I'm looking forward to Wingycuzins coming over 2morrow! Then after that it's New Years! Then after that it's my birthday! Then shortly after it's Valentine's Day and Lane's birthday then Joshua's birthday then the Superbowl! Such were the thoughts going through my head as I woke up this morning. (Oh, forgot to mention, I got a SUPACOOL computer deskythingy for my early b-day. Just keep that in mind) Then later Dad says he's gonna build my SUPACOOL computer deskythingy today! "Whoa!" thinks I. "Sooner than I woulda thought!" he did put it together... and it was SOOOOOOOOOO awesome! We moved my whole room around for it, and hung stuff on the walls and I got a new room!!!!!!!!!!!!! Enough to get me giggly!!!! Yes, I will post a picture. But first right after I got my new room (RIGHT after) Lucy pulls me to the living room and says something about a birthday present. "My birthday's not in like ten days!" says I, but she leaves unexplaining. I finally get the point that this present that Sticks has been cahooting with Nana about and drooling over since November is going to be given to me early! Coolio! Thinks I. They pull out this long box. Oooo! I love boxes!!!!!!!!!!!!! So then I opens it. Yeah, I think that's what I musta looked like. It is GLAMDRING the FOEHAMMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In English, Gandalf the Grey's sword!!!!! SCREEBEEEEEEEEEEES!!!!!!!!!! THEN..... there's another thing to open! No way! Thinks I. But there IS and it is...... A cool knight's shield that I have (as of right now) named King Richard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am completely freakin out!

Then we hung em up in my room!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, and on that subject....

I know, I know, my bed's a mess. I still need to actually CLEAN the room!

My SUPACOOL computer desky thingy!

Close-up of Glamdring's hilt.

So now, my friends, my room is a direst result of Multi-personality-disorder. Purple Bed, Manning desktop, LOTR screen saver and a sword&shield. To top it all off, a long-lost and bemoaned box returned to me for incorrect zip code!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's a beautiful day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you God for a beautiful day and your Beauftiful Son!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Which One, Which One?

This past Football Sunday, the TV was turned ON. Should I watch my one-and-only Peyton Manning (my best-loved, favorite, awesomest, football quarterback hero, I-do-not-doubt-his-heart-nor-the-reach-of-his-arm, Colts dude) at his typical best beating the Texans (No DUH!!!) in the 3rd quarter by such a long shot that poor stinky team has no chance whatsoever of catching up not to even CONSIDER winning?

Or should I watch my second-and-only Brett Favre (my previous favorite, best, and awesomest, until I discovered what those words really meant through a certain #18 in a blue shirt, but this graying, big-throwing, every-record-breaking, cheesehead, Green Bay, QB still retains a large peice of my heart for himself) at his absolute WORST losing to the Bears (EEEEEK!) in the third quarter in the worst conditions he said he's ever played in with cold and snow and huge winds with a PROVOKINGLY large chance of winning?

Oh decisions, decisions!!!!!!! Of course I had to watch my Manning until the game switched then I watched my Favre. I depressed myself with the wind pushing his right passes left and watching him cry. Then I left. They lost to the Bears. My Manning didn't even make it to the top 3 QBs this week! Romo did.

Jingle Bells! T.O. smells!

Romo threw a pick!

Demarcus Ware messed up his hair

and the Cowboys lost the game!

Jingle Bells! T.O. smells!

Romo took a sack!

Beat the Dolphins in the spring

and now they're 1-15!!!

~ written by Sticks and Meggy to make my cousin angry!:P

My poor teams! In honest retrospect, I know that the Patriots, the hated team known for lucky wins and evilish hathno, shall make it to the Big Bowl. But with who? Anybody but the Cowboys!!! Green Bay or Indy PLEASE!!!!

Under Construction

VERSE OF THE DAY: Feed the hungry, and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon. Isaiah 58:10
I noticed that I couldn't see the picture up top, and now there seems to be a problem with blogger. ARG! So, this blog is getting redesigned. Sad. I liked the old template. Any ideas? I'll probably be switchin around for a bit.

Square Dancing and Football: A Direct Result of MPD

VERSE OF THE DAY: Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better. Colossians 1:10

Listening to Air1 and holding EzT. Just got back from a gym day. We square danced, yeah. It wasn't as humiliating as I expected actually. There was one part that was like Pride and Prejudice dancing. It would've been ten times more fun if I knew more people there. But as of today, I have changed the number of coloradigan girl's I am aquainted with from 1 to 2! Whoa!

Beautiful Love. I am in a state of saying the first random thing that pops into my head right now.
Game last night I didn't get to watch cuz we didn't get the channel. It was:

FAVRE, THE MAN, THE MYTH, THE LEGEND

VS.
romo the small and insignificant pick-thrower.

Whoodayathink won? Them stinky cowboys. Why?.......... They hurt Favre!!!!!!!! In the arm!!!!!!! This graying quarterback holds all the records, he's played for somethinteen years, made the Hall of Fame, and they HURT him! Evil in the air!!! He fell on it I believe. Here he is after the injury sitting on the sidelines watching his team fall into the depths of defeat.
I sure hope this isn't season-ending. They could make it to the Big Bowl!

Played Battle for Middle Earth 2 with Dad till 12:30 last night. He won. Barely. I coulda had him if it weren't for those dead-guy armies!!!!! May play JA tonight. I'll see what he thinks. But this game won't count on our record because this is the first time and I'll lose. Whaddayatink Drallen?

What will people think if they hear that I'm a Jesus Freak?
What will people do if find that it's true?
I don't really care if they label me a Jesus Freak.
There ain't no disguising the truth.

There's somethin funny about that Bird...

VERSE OF THE DAY: Then Jesus said to his disciples, "If any of you wants to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross, and follow me.” Matthew 16:24
Here's some funny things about my roommate, Mallybird:
  • She says the funniest things
  • She's smart. She remembers where I put things and tells me so. She counts to about 8, then spits out random numbers
  • She's 2! That's a story all in itself!
  • She's the prettiest little fairy queen you'll ever see!
  • She always wants me to hold her hand while we're in bed. When I think she's asleep and I slowly pull away, she wakes right up and snatches my hand back.
  • She LOVES to read books! Even whatever I'm reading at the moment. "Honey Bird, you don't really want to listen to The Simarillion do you?:P)
  • Every morning she says, "Read Bible?" With a little chirp.
  • Every question ends with an extremely high chirp. ("Rea-EEEED?)
  • She loves the song, "I've got the joy, joy, joy, joy down in my heart"! If you sing it, she'll throw in little high giggly "Wheeeere?"s. When she tries to sing the joyjoyjoy part, she spits everywhere. Heehee!
  • Her hair is really bunny rabbity and smooth. The bottom layer is curly and the top layer is straight!
  • She knows what is mine and what's hers. Yeah, iPod's Meggy's. We've been over that one a couple of times.
  • Her job in the kitchen is throwing away the dirty napkins. You have to lift her up, but she likes doing it.
  • She's Meggy's girl!
  • She likes pink
  • She picks out the band she likes in her hair every morning. She loves to help in the daily search for the "green comb". (how does that thing get lost every morning?)
  • Kisses make everything better
  • She doesn't let me call her barely anything besides "Mallory", "Bird", or "Angel". Anything else is greeted with the response: "It's MALLORY!"
  • Her dollies are: Dolly, Jane, Blue-baby, Emma, Sunflower, Timmy, and That-One. (yes she named it) I am the babies's slave. I'm told they want to get on the bed, then off the bed, then different clothes, then just Jane wants on the bed, etc. She does NOT do it herself!
  • Shoes are fun!
  • Potty chair is against the law
  • She falls out of bed quite a bit, but is too sleepy to cry much
  • She says EVERYTHING she wants to!
  • She doesn't get in trouble alot

Now she wants me to read the Baby Bop Counting Book and I said I would, so. She's great and cute!
