Snaps for Brothers!

True Peyton didn't lead his team to fame and fortune. But his dear brother, Eli Manning took his New York Giants to Dallas to beat..... ROMO and the DALLAS COWBOYS!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so happy for the boy and happy that the Cowboys never got any better than the Colts. Now let us watch an inspiring clip of Peyton beating Eli up.
God Bless us every one!

  1. Ummm, I didn't understand a word of that* :^P
but it seems that the basic gist is I should say "congratulations" to somebody (peyton manning's bro?) and that I am most happy for you, Meggy, that you got some sort of vindication or catharsis or something :) see, that means "happy"

    :^P alright, and I'm loopy, g'night!
*well, actually, I did, the *only* thing I *didn't* get was why the team that lost was significant

Yes you got it you should congradulate Peyton's bro!
It was significant because they can't play the superbowl or any games at all until this September! I won't see good football again till then!!!!:(

  3. ughhhh football. It makes my brain twitch... I really don't like football, but that is probably because whenever I would go to my grandparents for Thanksgiving, they would always watch that instead of playing games. Which probably also explains my hate for Thanksgiving....

  5. yeah, I know...
I had no idea who the Adam was, he was just this weird guy. He looked familiar though. I think I saw him at that birthday party I helped with the other day actually (not the dream one).

  8. Can't say I've ever liked Eli. Not only is he not nearly as good as his brother, he's not nearly as personable. I guess neither are his fault.

    Go Packers.

Oh wow, you guys don't understand football?! peoples, come on and join the tream with the famous Meggy T and me!!! *giggle* Go, Manning! Go, Farve! And I know I prolly spelled 'em wrong! *giggle*

I know, Meggy dear don't cry!!! It's just horrible...but....cheer up, my brother couldn't beat them Colts on a video game!!! ^_^ Hehehehe, he was so mad he couldn't beat 'em...he'd yell at me "GO LIONS!" and I'd yell back "GO COLTS!" and then he'd say "GO JON!" and I'd say "GO MANNING!" and then he'd go back to to saying go lions while I yell back "GO FARVE! GO PACKERS!" *giggle*

Yeah, I just saw Manning's brother in the paper!!! we're on a trip right now and I'm on my dad's lappy, and in the gift shop there was a paper and to my wonderful delight there was number 4....our wonderful Farve!!! Yay yay yay! Time to bug my bro! *giggle* So I waved the paper in his face, then I saw Manning and i was like, totally awesomeness! my two fav football players! But....*groans* It was ELI, not PEYTON! AGH!!

Oh yes girly we'll be cheering those packers to kingdom come while watching the game!!! ^_^ now that i've found my newfound love of our dear Packers, I'll be begging my dad to watch the bowl this year. ^_^ GO NUMBER FOUR!!! yayayaya!!! *giggle* Aw it's so awesomeness to find a girl to talk football with...^_^ You always get me pumped up about our wonderful boys! *giggles*

    emma, i question your sanity.
You like Eli because you feel sorry for him? Are you stupid?
(don't think i'm just being mean guys, it's an inside joke)

(yeah, inside joke, sorry guys :P)
Jazlynn, you *should* question my sanity. B/c yes, I did just decide I would cheer for him and like him because I feel sorry for him. I do that sort of thing. Right, Meggy?? :P She thinks I'd marry someone if they asked me to and told me they were lonely, even if they were a freak. I would *not* marry a freak.

Sure you wouldn't. Yeah you would. And listen Em, I would be the LAST one to insult the youngest son of his father (especially being a Manning)! And Toria did not insult Eli either! Not Luke either really, he just said he didn't like him, and in saying he wasn't as good as his brother, he was complimenting said skilled kinsman. So Eli does not stand insulted by any of us. And if you mean he is insulted by the public, then you are correct. Every football player on earth is equally insulted and booed by every opposing team's fans. They all get called all kinds of names and don't ask me to repeat them! If their feelings are hurt, they leave the team. Ask Tiki Barber(ok, maybe that was a little exaggerated:P) But it doesn't get to them. Therefore, I must conclude that logically, you would have no more need to cheer for him than any other quarterback in the NFL.

  15. Plus, one reason a lot of people don't like Eli is because when he was drafted a few years ago, he acted (in some people's opinions) like a whiny spoiled brat. He got drafted by the Chargers, but he didn't want to play for the Chargers, so they had to trade him to the Giants, which made him happier.

I don't really think he's a whiny spoiled brat, just saying.

    Well, he's Archie's baby:P

  17. *I* think he acted like a whining spoiled brat....to this day I ask if he was the guy who whined to get on the team he wanted on. However, I've forgiven him...
And, I laughed at Emma and Jazzy....
But, personally, I have no scruples against insulting a Manning...they're people. :P
Btw, Meggy, Brett Favre is my Aunt's absolute favorite player...she went to a Packer's game for her birthday.... :) I think she'd marry him if she wasn't married....Okay, I'm rambling, so I should go.

I've been thinking latley that going to a real game may be overrated. I mean, all the noise, no announcers really, and not being able to see good. But I dunno, maybe the thrill of a actually SEEING it before your eyes makes you love your surroundings. I know I get excited when the Broncos have a home game and I like the other team, just because it's so neat to think that BRETT FAVRE the MAN the MYTH the LEGEND is 10 miles away!!!!
Nan, People, yes. But Special PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  19. who says you should insult *any* ppl?

  20. Anonymous8:58 PM

But, don't you HAVE to insult some people, sometimes? :P Okay, maybe not. But, if they're related...and they're grumpy...why not? :)
Yes, Meggy, special people. But, really...they can throw and run and catch a football. Lovely. What makes them more special than everyone else on the planet?

    ReplyDelete
  21. you do NOT have to insult ppl

    ReplyDelete
  22. Oh, and Meggy, I tagged you on SDG. :) You don't have to do it, though...If you don't want... :)

  24. Grace that is an entirely different matter. Trevor is an insulting person. :P JK but he does deserve it. lol Nah I know he means well but I guess I'm not used to public school guys :P and anyway just b/c I do doesn't mean I HAVE to

Hey so, I don't know about you, but I'm pretty pumped that the Giants won! What a game, huh?

Yeah, what a game. RIDICULOUS pick at overtime. That lost the game! Poor Favre. I was hoping he could pull ONE MORE superbowl off in his career. He'll prolly retire now though. But I do like Eli, and it was hard during the game cuz I've never wanted the giants to lose before! I'm happy for them, even though they're fixin to get ground to tiny particles of dust under the Patriots heel. Good ol' Eli.
